I made a really nice pet for someone with light armor, great resists and no vulnerabilities, but the electrical resist is only 3. How often do you run into stuff that does electrical damage? I want to be able to judge if that's a significant flaw.

This is my first high value pet request. The customer is offering me 1 million for a kin60/energy60 no vulnerabilities pet, and though I'm not there yet, this seems like a million dollar pet to me. I hate to risk sampling him, He's about a 6th generation pet. His toHit seems pretty darn high, it seems that might make the specials pretty effective, but I have no experience in using pets of this caliber so I don't know if that's a big plus or not.

Personally, I wouldn't risk him. I would start over if he isn't good enough. But again, that's just me.

Heheh, that's about how much I spent on tickets to Dath, Dantooine and Endor. You can try to be efficient and fill your pack, but there are always those big ideas, critical failures and less than lucky resamples that gets you going back for more.

I love the people who say "Why do pets cost so much? They have, what, maybe 400-500 credits of meat and floral in them!"

To which I respond "500 credits??? You paid 500 credits for some meat and floral?!?!?"

If they aren't too swift they come back with something like: "But hunters have to make money. And it takes time to gather the meat. And they have to have equipment... weapons and armor and stuff... to gather the meat. And if they want good stuff, they have to go to other planets. And they need special equipment like harvesters and survey tools to get the floral."

No, I didn't. Getting 60/60 with no vuln? If it were possible, would be worth more than 1mil creds. But keep in mind 3 elec will still get torn up by an LLC. Vuln or not.

Looks like a good pet to me. Only comment would be that if your customer is an MCH wanting a single pet, he may want something with a little extra HAM and damage.

Here's some advice on doing CL 70ish pets. Don't let the customer dictate stats to you. There are just too few options that we have to work with for that CL. Make yourself a recipe, understand what *you* can do, and communicate that to him. He'll respect you for it, and you'll save yourself a lot of grief in the end.

The 60/60 no vulns thingy is just silly imho.

BTW, nice job on the specials. Pretty rare to see a pet of this CL with crippling strike.

LLC = Light Lightning Cannon. The heavy weapon for Bounty Hunter.

THey are sweet. Surprised the heck out of my MP friend when we dueled. I 1-shot him with LLC-Shot2 and that was after the PvP damage reduction change.

LLC? What is this? I would like to know. Also, 3 resist ain't great, but with light armor, it's head over heels better than a vulnerability.
