I thought that ranged attack was controllable these days. Is that not the case? The ranged attack just sorta happened.

It lowers the poster of the victim one level. Think of it as lesser knockdown, but I believe it is more likely to work. Mixed with dizzy it causes the victim to fall back down when they try to get up.

Looks likea graul derivative to me.

As a MCH I'd say thats a good all around pet, I typically sell pets like that in the 30k - 40k range.

I've been trying to reach the 60/60 combo for quite some time and I've yet to figure it out, if it even is do-able. 60/60 with no vulnarbilities is even more difficult to make work since there are only about 30 creatures in the game with light armor and no vulnarbilities and of those few, I've found no combinations that will make a 60/60 pet.

Now if you could somehow get down to the bottom of the spider clan cave on dath and get 5 samples of the reclusive queen spider, you'd have a sure fire method of getting a 60/60 pet with no vulnarbilities, and considering the effort required to do that, it would definately be worth 1 million credits.

That is a very solid pet you made. The 3 electric is a nice improvement over the vulnerability your DNA started with--well, some of the DNA you used. There is no real formula for an AR1, 60/60. no vuln pet. I'll check the stats of the ones I made last night when I get home--I have one 60/56 and one 60/53 and I think the 60/53 was without Vulnerabilities. I was dead tired (day 3 of insomnia), but I'll recheck the recipes.

Yep, I was way tired. After review, the pets all had 1 vulnerability (either stun, elec, or blast).

One example:

Lvl 55 Angler:

10.2-11.1k HAM

60% Kin

36% Energy

74% blast

89% heat

74% Cold

Vuln to Elec

6 Acid

5 Stun

Stun special

Ranged Atk

520-530 (made him to be an outside shooter)

Another test was:

Lvl 66 Razor Cat

13k/12.1k/11.8k HAM

51% Kin

53% Energy

Vuln to blast

93% heat

33% cold

93% Elec

36% Acid

18% stun

Strong Disease

440-450 damage (guestimate as I just logged off before writing it down--don't get old, it plays hell with the memory)

The 60 Kin/53+ Energy pets all were vulnerable to stun, so not a PvP tool. I have a combo in mind to try tomorrow that will have no vulnerabilities and still keep 53% Kin or so and will have 60% energy--have to go to Dath and hope for the best first. If the Mutants are cooperative,I'll post the result here.

I tried a new combo of MR, GSQ, MR, GSQ, MR, GSQ to test a no vulnerability pet.

Here is what I came out with experimenting all but mental (had 2 points left over):

CL 68

12.8k/12.3k/12.3k HAM

Light Armor

Kinetic 50

Energy 60

Blast 11

Heat 78

Cold 70

Electricity 41

Acid 13

Stun 13

SPeed 2.16

To Hit .55

Damage 530-540

Dizzy Strike

Ranged attack

This was about as close to a 60/60 as I think I can get with zero vulnerabilities. It was a gen 1 pet and i am not gonna risk him in sampling, hehe.

I made a Mid 50's CL

11k HAM

Kinetic 60%

Energy 60%

(the rest if dont care about this was a tanking pet)

400 MAx Damage Pet (put it in a KWI)

with Strong Disease

Questions I have is does the Skin really matter? And any thoughts how this would do vs. Kryats if being healed? Will it hold aggro long?

Wow, I like that recipe. I think if you threw those extra points into mental you could maybe get some better ToHit numbers at CL70.

I will play with it more once I can get some more MR samples. I failed about 30 out of 31 tries last night and gave up. Takes so long to get to them that it gets frustrating--I'd rather kill the Mutant Rancors now than harvest them. I made a previous pet with the same recipe, but it was CL 74--using it for next gen sampling. So far, the MR/GSQ/MR/GSQ/MR recipe seems promising for overall resists. I think the MR/PG combo wirks well too. I made a nice pet with FG/GSQ also, but it is vuln to electricity since both parent DNA's are vuln as well. I'll use this FG/GSQ pet for a lot of PvE (I don't PvP anyway) except when facing Force Sensitives. I have to admit, making critters is more fun than I expected it to be. Almost tempted enoughto farm away the DNA and open up a pet shop.
