Thread: Why do you chooce Bio Engineer?
Im thiking of beeing a Bio Eng, because i look forward to make animals, sample DNA, making Steam packs for pets and other stuff!
But can i make mutch cool things? Dont you guys be tierd of making aminals after a while? if you dont have CH skills you cant use you pets, sow what is the point of making ALOT of pets you cant use to anything? Do you just set them free to kill them or sell them?
Im thinking of taking some Ch skills (4-4-4-0) but then i cant use all my pets!
Im thinking to be Master Bio Engineer, CH 4-4-4-0 nad Swordsman 0-4-4-0!
I dont know a lot of Bio Eng (i just heard that a Bio Eng can make alot of animals an other cool stuff that i can make good money on).
im just need to be know whin the Bio Engineer Prefessions a little bit better!
I hope that you guys can take a couple of minute's of your time and help me!
Tanks Anyway
As for interesting creatures. haha.. I haven't bothered with a single skill in the clone line and have only 1 DNA sampling skill. They're the absolute lowest priority.
"Steam Packs" lol, I'm sorry, that just sounded funny when I said it out loud...
anyway, my original reason for becoming a BE is because I wanted to eventually open up a dewback ranch. And now that it is closer to being a reality, it's not a top priority for me. I also wanted to be a master CH, and make the best pets possible for myself. I wasn't really concerned with making a living as a BE, just wanted to be a self sufficient CH. But the more I got into the BE profession, the more I began to like it, and love the possibilities of it all. As broke as it is, I won't give it up. And although I don't make enhancements at all, I still make good money on stims and clones alone.

Tal is right though, this class has TONS of potential. This class has so much in it and so much to do. Just go and talk to some MBE's on your server. I'm sure you'll find some that primarily do tissues, some do pets, others do stims. And as soon as we get some problems worked out, this class should be pretty good.

Stims are a pain. Tissues are a b!tch

Yeah, I want to be a BE so I can craft some really cool creatures that do things you can't find in the wild. I've made all the prerequisites...when do I get to craft cool creatures again?
:checks the calendar. Blinks. Checks the calendar again.
Wow, it's been four months already.
but what skill do you gyus have? Can i modify or manipulate the pets i make?
Tanxs for all the info guys!
i wanted to "test" be for creatures, but in the end i took it to do petstims/tissues/creatures for me and my friends, because i only met 2 BEs on gorath (at that time), and both just screwd over their customers
(the 10 charge, 700 healing power petstim d for 4k credits comes to mind again - now as master BE, i see, its realy not hard to do stimds with 35 charges and 1200 power....)
I've wanted to bea BE since beta, but back then I only heard nightmarish stories about it. My other goal was to be a Master Tailor so I went that route first. That got boring, so I dropped it and decided it was time to be a BE finally. The entire idea behind it seemed very unique and interesting. So far I'm having a great time gathering the best materials and experimenting. That was one thing I really missed that tailoring doesn't have.
