I wrote this to TH today, I know some will think its stupid but I would love to see if anyone thought it was a good idea.

About Female Players and the Tybis
Hey TH! I am a 25 year old female player. I think on one of the poles it showed about 10% of players are female and half of those are playing with a Sig. other.
My fiancée bought me the game and got me hooked but he doesn't play any more (I told him not to play the broken professions way back when, he didn't listen and wound up hating it but I kinda like SWG being MY place anways!).
Anways I wanted to suggest a very small change that I think a lot of females would like!! And it's a VERY small change!!
The lowest CL level a tybis can be is 15. I had CH for a while and had a BE CL 17 Tybis whom I named "my-little-pony". I loved that horse, he followed me around everywhere. I am a master doc and I wanted to master a combat profession so I gave up CH. I know lots of women love ridding horses, and I have not ONCE in the game seen ONE PERSON with a tybis pet. I think it would be so cool if it could be CL 10 or so, so that more players could have a horse therefor more female players.
This is probably one in a zillion IM's you get and seems pretty silly, but I have played SWG from week 2 and I still love it, and this is just a small suggestion I have. No one uses them as pets anways so they are kind of a waste, but they are SO COOL looking! If they were a mount that would be even better hehe, but my simple request is to lower their CL so they can be a non-CH pet! I have a gurreck like everyone else. I HATE ALL THE FREAKING SPIDERS in this game. BLEH that was so totally anti-female lol. BLEH SPIDERS!!!!!!!! Cats and spiders are all I see, I would love to walk around with my pony again and I am sure a lot of female players don't even know they exist!

Good luck on the reply. There is no reason why anyone should flame you for this. Though you don't see any actual horse riding in StarWars, I don't remember seeing anyone riding the "second skin" (Dewback's second skin would be Bol, for example) so I don't see why there are no horses.

its probably to mid-evil for them.. so ya know it would be COOL to ride a horse, but really i just wish i could have one as a pet.

If TH actually likes this idea we might start getting alot of orders for pink and purpel Tybis'
I cant realy see any harm in this, considering that, like you said, noone uses the Tybis anyway. But somehow I doubt this will make it into the game, soley so that female players can get their own my little pony
And while we're on the subject, I think there should be more mounts in the game.

omg they can be purple???!!!!!!1 Mine as pink, I liked the pink color (even those I dislike pink things in general) it was more of a dirty pink, kinda neat lookin. My gurreck is red, I like anything that doesn't look like everything else people have

But one small problem with reducing the CL of Tybis: What might happen is that it becomes a favored nonCH pet, since it has CL 15 stats, but only CL 10. Since the DEVs probably dont want to reduce the stats on it, maybe only BE Tybis can be CL 10, and the ones that you find in the wild are still CL 15+.

Its comments like this that give girl gamers a bad name.
Now ok, if at 25 you still want your My Little Pony thats fine - but what I cant believe is that you feel so strongly about it that you have to PM Thunderheart about it and that you assume most girl gamers like horses.
Sure most little girls want a pony but most of them grow out of it by the time their 10.
I'm not adverse to the idea of making alterations to the min CL of some skins but I'm sure there are better reasons than because girls like horses.
