there is no good reason to alter a CL unless its unbalanced, or because of preference.


A lot of women 10, 20, 30 and 40 and older love to ride horses. The my-little-pony is more of a joke name then anything. I think they care about the users,I really do. Its why half the time they do stupid nerfs to please the "people" so I think there is nothing wrong me my requesting something I think would apeal to women. All women? No, i didn't say that. I would never assume that. But I havn't ever seen one player with a tybis out as a pet. I thought this might be a way to get some more variety in the game by making a unique pet type avialible to non-ch's. Just so happens I am a girl, and know several girls in game who agree'd with me. I am proud to be a girl, and proud that I like horses. I hate pink, some girls love pink, I think its cute that they like pink vs saying "bleh omg i cant believe they like pink, its so pr|ssy".


It's okay I figured someone would be botheredby my request cause it would seem *silly*, i expectecd it.


And on another note, Ihate all the freakin spiders. But I know people enjoy them, guys in particular. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure some girls like them to.

Most players I know like the cats because they look cool, same with the spiders. Happens to be the merics or whatever they called are bad a55 so they like them, and also they like the really high end cats. With BE's you can get nearly anything you want with the stats you want. There are some really crappy cats to.


U think one way, i think another. You dont have to agree with me.. thats why i said, done flame if you think its stupid, i wanted to hear from the people who didnt think it was stupid. Someone is always gonna think someone else's idea is stupid if it doesnt have anything they can A) relate to or B) is important to there self.

I think this is a great idea for girls. However to add...what I want to be able to do as a non-ch is call out four CL 1 birds withincredibly low stats (for non-fighting purposes).. 5 HAM, 1 dmg, something to follow me around ... now imagine what that could do the for entertainer profession... especially one that is performing in a player town Cantina. Like all birds are IRL, they need to be able to be all the colors that are avail to the master tailor, meaning Purple, Red, Green, etc.

I deal with customers wanting pets ona daily basis and I know the reason they choose cats and spiders, because they ask specifically for fast skins.
The only requests I've had for badass pets are from creature handlers, they like rancors and kimos and mereks...
Most people want pets that have a chance of keeping up with them.

i agree with you, only thing bad about that is a CH has an ability they earn to call out more then one pet. So as much I as I would LOVE that as well, i could see why they would not, because it's an earned ability. When i first thought about CH i thought it was going to be particular species in a particular skill box, i was happy when i realized it wasn't, so we arn't limited in our selection. Tho i am not a CH anymore so now I am limited

A novel idea, however I doubt TH will be able to do more than have a good laugh.



Being a guy, I kinda resent the fact that you stereotype me as liking the spider skins. I actually cant stand them.



I would love to see some bird skins though, I have an alt that is a Musician, and I would like to have more than one bird flying around. Heck for that matter I would probably keep a "pet" like that for my main character too... after all my squall(the first creature I tamed)still follows me around on occasion.

I personally think that a lot of the creatures that are not class makable as a class 10 should be, and a lot of the ones that have a class 2 minimu should have at least a class 12 minimum. Here's why: Tybis and elephant creatures would provide a variety and allow for better role-playing AND we have, what, 5-7 creatures that can be made less than class 10 that are Agressive and a Non-CH can't even handle. Switch them around. It keeps the balance and keeps newbs from making aggressive skins for Non-CHs who then report it as a bug, wasting 1 of the 2 CSR's valuable time.....

Maybe guys want cats because deep down we want to name them BattleCat, use them as mounts,get a big sword, and ride around pretending that we're He-Man


The girl angle doesnt realy bother me. Imade peacealong time agowith the fact thatmen and women, eitherdue to biology, upbringing or both (depending on whos politics you buy),have many differences in what we like or dislike. In these times of feminisme and equality between the sexes, the mere thought that there are differences between us seems to be taboo. So personly I find it refreshingwhen someone dares to be "girly".


And btw, growing up does not mean rejecting your childhood.Im 25 too, a postgraduate in computerscience, and I still, on occation, dig out my old Transformers comics andponder overwho would win between Grimlock and Megatron

Simple reason to do this:


It will make more players happy! There are probably alot of guys out there too, that love to ride horses (I can't, due to a back injury..Oh well ).


The limits on mounts at the moment is probably due to most people wanting a vehicle. I personally have outfitted my whole guild with BE Bantha's as mounts of late, for roaming around the city. They added in the Bantha and Cu Pa (second one I think for adding in Tauntauns later) so why not go with this? A four legged creature, that would make a reliable, and usefull mount is what people want. It could probably even be faster than others, since most horses do move pretty quickly. Now if you had said that they were riden side saddle, like a Lady Godiva kinda thing..then I could understand folks thinking it's weird. But otherwise, I like this idea.


P.S. Morten? You are not the only one that go's along with the idea that we don't have to totally grow up as we get older. heh..My desk is covered with Star Wars collectibles, and some Transformers too. Hell, I even name all my droids after TF's, and named my Bantha Grimlock (oh yeah..and I'm 29! lol)

LOL, I just got a second account a while back and he is going for Master Entertainer/Master Dancer/Master Musician... a short fat wookiee wearing BE entertainer and chef's aprons and kitchen master's hats ... and i hadjust decidedon matching all his droids and vehicles to the color he would be wearing that day... Starphire, you are not alone...


BTW, I would love it if I could ride a Tybis. I'm very interested in ancient civilizations and just the sight of me riding a Tybis with my wookiee armor wielding a ryyk blade would be just about the best image i could ever hope for


Now I KNOW TH would like to see a screenshot of that
