a friend of mine has bio pets from way before the patch, months before. she gave me a blurgg to try out. i tamed it no problem. ranged attack no other specials good ham and high dmg. however the diff lvl is 0 with no parathesis to denote what will be as an adult. will this have problems has it grows, i am a mch but have no experience with this issue. any info would be nice.

I don't know if this will help but i am a MCH / BE and i had some blurrgs pre-patch as well. I tamed one and he has grown to full but the level still says 1(0) and has not changed. Before the patch they were considered lv 50 i think that is still true because when i pull out certain pets it set a limit for which i can call.

It'll grow to level 50, but will only read 1(0).

I've seen this bug a lot. I even got it on a lesser dewback I tamed the other day. It was growing fine but as it reached 3rd level its level values both max and current went to 0. Behaves almost normaly other wise.

This is new. Are you sure it was a lesser Dewback?

The prepatch critters being lv0/1 is common. It happens for pretty much any critter that was in deed form when the patch went through.

the lesser they are referring to is more than likely a wild one

Well Yeah, concidering BE dosen't make lesser or any other "adjective" critters. If this lv0 thing is happenig to former wild animals then its very odd.

Yeah, the pre-patch clones are seriously bugged. I have Creature Management III, and can control Max Pet Levels up to 26, yet can control both a GSP and a pre-patch Tybis due to the Tybis' CL being only 1(0).

Yep I was very suprised. It was not a BE pet, I tamed a wild baby with the intent to raise it as a mount for my wife's character. Seemed fine at first but when I logged in yesterday it had the 0 level bug going on. Not sure if it does all the behaviors the others do like going over the call limit if called last. I'll keep an eye on it and report it to the dev's if it grows up to a 0 level.

I know lots of the pre existing non-ch pet creatures are currently bugged and can't be called. My wife's for instance is like this. Perhaps the bug goes a little deeper than thought at first. I've also got some bugged blurrgs and a regular BE dewback from pre patch. I havn't seen new BE pets doing this but I've read posts about it.

I've brought this bug up and even emailed our correspondent a link to the post about it. All pre-christmas patch made BE creatures THAT ARE LEFT AS DEEDS become this way when tamed post patch. So i have a 1(1) blurg and had a spider like it to. It leads to an interesting exploit where you pull out 69 levels of pets and add your level 1 pet and now you have almost 120 CL's out. I dont use this myself and I dont think anyone should. The game allows it though because its treating the pet as CL1. Although for everything else its counting it as a level 50 pet. So if you can it out first you only get you 20 CL levels to pull out after it as a Master. Its an interesting bug and im not quite sure how they will fix it. I know there are BE's who have been selling these bugged pets.

I dont do exploits in game. They tend to come back and haunt you. But now you know why its showing CL1

You can only use one tank at a time, as they will argo on only one animal, so having so many pets out isn't that big of a deal. As for the extra damage, well players do far far more damage than a pet ever could, so again this isn't that big of a deal. It is an exploit but hardly an over powered one and not worth a hot fix. I can see people complaining about using this in PvP though, however pets go down so quick in PvP it takes more time to call them than it does to kill them. Hardly an in balance. Now those CL10 critters than can take down those blurrgs is a completely different story.

tamed wild pets CL9 and and under show level 0 until they are grown when they show CL9 or whatever. Lesser dewbacks etc. Different issue than the pre patch BE pets.

Funny you should say that, I was told my CL 46 pets are crap because you can only have one out at a time hehe...it's 2 different bugs, and considering the way they treated the smugglers with their bug I wouldn't advise using the pre-patch pet one much...
