Thread: BE Pricing? Can we just discuss it sensibly among ourselves a minute please?
well one did lol, but i said i would charge 250cr per item and she said that one 10 times what she's ever paid.
Salient points were: 20 credits per bonus per tissue for chef stuff; 200 per bonus (higher only) per tissue for tailor stuff. Makes a loss according to the formulae posted but I would never even consider paying more than 30cpu for meat and I in fact make a profit on the orders I do. Which are few 'cos I'm much more interested in pets.

i also use a formula for pricing tissues:
tailor tissues 150 per bonus points for normal tissues.
The tissues that need egg, milk or mollusk i ask 200 creds per point.
For cheftissues the price is fix for flavor, food and mass reducing (and i have a few crates of them on my vendor - more for showing then for selling. Usual they dont sell. But maybe a chef want to try them one day - and he can see that i have all available )
For nutrient i ask per tissue:
Micronutrient Supplement 18 per point (900cr for +50)
Broad-Spectrum Nutriens 16 per point (1280cr for +80)
Intelligent Nanonutrients 15 per point (1650cr for +110)
If the bonus is below 50 / 80 / 110 i ask 2 creds per point less.
Best

Well you're meat prices are rather high the most I've ever paid for the best meat on the server was 51cpu though I have had a chef go for the buyout at 100cpu for the same meat.
I normally charge 1k/1.5k/2k for Micro/BSN/Intelligent. Granted for the 88's I was making with the above mentioned meat I was charging 2mil for a full run of BSN and 2.2mil for a full run of Intelligent.
We can work with the 51cpu - I was just looking at prices I'd been offered in the past for actually hunting that quality of meat (seen up to 150cpu from Docs, but they seem to have a few more creds to throw around).
Factoring in your 51cpu the cost becomes:
(35 x 10) + (25 x 10) + (20 x 51) = 350 + 250 + 1020 = 1620 per +84 BSN
Given your sales price, you must harvest your own materials like I do? The most time-intensive part is getting the meat. carnivore is tricky to harvest at more than 1200 units per hour, wild is not too bad sometimes (only other meat I've found with stats close to good carnivore).
Some of the pricing suggestions based on XXcreds per point for tailor tissues are probably fair, I see those on Chimera a lot too and use that structure myself.
The extra costs for BSNs over +84 aren't a problem either - as demonstrated in my original post, the higher quality BSN needs a higher quality meat, etc. For example, to produce a +88BSN your meat quality would be:
MQ = ((( 88 - 60)/30) x 100) % = (28/30) x 100 = 93.3% or 933/933/933 which is quite a hike and pretty hard to come by ![]()
