If he truly has people he knows doing it for cheap, then why would he bother you?

Chuckle 3mil for a schematic is the polite way of saying no, it is very high even for Bria. I'm in the middle to high side and sell my 84-86 for about 37.5k per crate and the current 88's I'm making for 50k(had to pay 51cpu for the meat after all)

A schematic and a tip. Give me a break. I can make 500k to 1milon somedays selling pets through my vendors. DON'T MAKE SCHEMATICS FOR ANYONE!!! Okay, maybe a guildie.

I don't know about whats going on on your servers, but on Scylla the price of a BE crate of brandy has dropped to 100k. For something that takes a significant amount of resources for the Chef, I had to drop my prices to 25k per crate of tissue (at 500 meat per crate, this is still 50 cpu for the meat assuming no cost for the flora (and it's negligible with respect to the meat since I harvest my own). I can't compete with chefs for the meat, but I can typically find a sympathetic hunter who understands the value of having a supply of high quality brandy who cuts me a deal (typically 12.5 cpu and one crate of brandy per 20k meat). If I do a factory run of tissues, that's 40 crates at 25k each (1 million). If I paid 12.5 cpu for the meat, that's 250k for the meat, so I make a profit of 750k. I will gladly make a schematic for a chef now for a tidy 700k (saves them a *little* money, and I don't have to worry about the meat). Thank goodness schematics aren't reusable.

Yup, on Bria, brandy is 250k a crate. Whether it is crap or not. You can spend 10k for a crate of 2 on the bazaar in some places.

Just wanted to give a fellow MBE on Bria a /salute for **not** taking part in screwing the chef additive market for the rest of us.

Obviously both you and I know it isnt about the "effort" when it comes to making schematics, it is the "value" of such schematic.

Everytime some a$$hat chef sends me a tell asking for a free schematic he/she gets on my perm ignore list as well as a exclusive perm ban list for my shop.

What a chef is really doing when he asks for a cheap schematic is that we, as MBE, bend over, grab our ankles, and take it doggy style....dry

What do they expect a semi-intelligent MBE to say?

"Oh ty you Mr. Chef dude for your generous 100k donation! I would much rather that then the 1.6 million (assuming 40k per crate)that you SHOULD be paying me to make them for YOU"
