Havent tested this yet, but was curious if 100% stun resist pets really did resist all stun damage in pvp, started making a bunch of triplets with this in preparation of combat rebalance when pets may be usefull in pvp.
May test myself later tho if i can find a CH to give a pet too

yes, it works
only a few creatures have 100% stun resists (and not very many other decent stats) though

Insane Mantigrue Berserksactually look great for stun-immune pets...blast-immune too, AR1 and good kinetic/energy resist too. Both specials are useful too
Are these lair boss spawns though?

Yeppers, I do believe they're boss-only spawns. I had one of these pop out on me when I was taking out a lair; needless to say, I was a little surprised

Boss Lair spawns on Endor... so pretty hard to find...
However... Tortur Bulls on Talus are quite easy to find (missionlairs i think) and have 100 percent stun too...
Lot safer to sample as well... ^_^
However must admit that the stats on the Insane Mantigrue are VERY nice to have anyways.
Another nice one for stun resists are the Young Plainswalker Malklocs on Dathomir... 90% stun if i recall correctly

Those guys are hard to find though, too =)
YMP YMP and 3x Rancor is a great combo for a stun/intim pet with AR1 and good K/E resists

doh! thanks for reminding me about the insane mantigrue berserkers
just get a deranged mantigrue flock mission (or something like that) and they'll be in the third wave

I wouldn't count on stun being the be-all and end-all of combat after the revamp. It only is now because it's the least resisted damage type in the game. I doubt it was the intent of the devs to have combat revolve around who could do the most stun damage and I doubt it will remain that way after the combat pass.

think someone mentioned somewhere that the devs were changing stun from the main vuln of the game, whichlightsaber is supposed to be now...

i've found seeting bol crushers lying around dant recently-they have 100 stun and something over our max kinetic, along with nice other stuff.

What about a 100% stun pet now?
If you running around, and you come up with an opponent with a Geo pistol, a Jawa rifle, stun baton. Sick your pet on em, and go ahead attack him. Most likely, they won't be expecting to be facing a 100% stun resist pet.
It can be a distraction enough to give you an edge in the battle.
