I just mastered Bio-Engineer last night and I want to make a bunch of stim Ds but they require fish. Is there any place I can harvest this or do I have to go fishing?

If I do have to go fishing could somebody tell me how it works?

Thanks,

Congrats on becoming master, about the fishing... It's a pain, wouldnt bother with those stims use a lower version. Forage for bait or get some on the baz drag it onto your rod and stand in shallow water in a fishy area heehehe, use /fish and it gives you a small menu with options.

it gets boring fast mind

I have a BE toon on Radiant. If you'd like, I'll login tonight and give you a little one-on-one rundown. Bosta is the name.

I had D's on my vendor for a very short time I was spending entirely tooooooo much time fishing for such a small return now I just make them for myself.

It can be mind numbingly boring but when you make those high end D's that heal 1600 you'll realize its worth the effort.

My crates of stim D's sell fora lot of money but of course the effort dictates the cost. They fly off my vendor I might add.

Does it have to be fish or will mollusks and crustacian meat work? I can't make them yet but since it's so hard to come by I want to start gathering it now

How do people get fish thats in a resource container.. ?

You need scout skill to Fillet the fish. I'm not sure how much scout skill, since I've always had at least 4041 scout (I like to forage for my own bait)

Actually, if you fillet the fish, you'll get meat and some leftovers, actually "chum bait". This stuff supposedly isn't as good as worms or the like, but it has worked well for me... so basically if you catch fish and fillet, you'll never need to forage for bait.

Unless you're like me and try not to carry all sorts of stuff around with you. I'm a pack-rat and I'm trying to break the habit.

I forage for bait at the start, so I can sell/destroy any leftover bait at the end of the fishing session. After you catch the first fish, no more foraging until you go out next time
