Thread: I think we are under pricing ourselves...
That's a 2700 eff HAM with 120 damage, pretty fast and accurate. Can we get a lvl 10 with those numbers?

Just saw this posted from a droid engineer who's selling combat droidson the farstar trade forum:
HAM 1666
Attack speed 1.54
To hit 0.36
Damage 118-128
Armour 40% (max for a droid)
They are on sale for 65k each.
Interesting huh?

And they are adding aditional pet checks... LOL
A lot of the DE's still feel that droids are underpowered when compared to creature pets due to the inability to buff droids and the fact that creatures appear to make better tanks (in tests). I can't comment on this view because I haven't tested it myself, but from what I've read on both sides I begin to get the feeling that the two are better balanced against each other than either side is willing to admit. And yes, I'm a DE, not a BE.

Hmmm
Has anyone seen a probot used in a hunt that looks awesome? They seem rather sucky to me
The resource requirements of droids are huge, it takes 22 components to make that droid. This is a list of the sub components from the bottom to the final droid
2 Control Units (Master Artisan Part)
1 Composite Armor Segment (Armorsmith Part)
7 Droid Brains
1 Droid Sensor
1 Manipulator Arm Package
1 Micro Sensor Suite (Master Artisan Part)
1 Advanced Droid Motivator
5 Combat Modules
1 Droid Amor Level 6
1 Combat Module Socket Cluster
1 Probot Chasis
So in order to produce them in a factory you need to be really organized, have more than one factory, and have about 200k of Fiberplast, 100k of Steel, Ore, Gas, Extrusive Ore, Copper and Polymer
I charge 50k for my nonCH pets I make on the 4k/3k/2k VD/HP recipe. I sold 58 of them last week at that price.
The way it stands now they seem pretty balanced to me. The nonCH pets make better tanks and the Droids make better dmage dealers. Every now and then I get the blessed "failure" on a Physique experimentation that boosts Hardiness and drops Fortitude down to 1. When that happens I can max out Agression to get a CL9 or CL10 pet with 150dmg. Its pretty rare though. Is there any pther crafting class that makes better items when they get experimentation failures? LOL

Just to point out that although the armour is listed as 40% resists, I believe it is actually 20% resists and the 40% is a display bug (although with the sheer number of posts in the DE forum at the moment and the way the Devs make undocumented changes without telling anyone this could have changed by now).

I agree that they are pretty much even when you look at them as a whole, but the problem is people don't look at them as a whole. They look for the stats they desire, and pet damage is negligable in that regard. All they want is HAM and resists for a tank while they deal the damage, so DEs get shafted in that regard.

Well, the only thing I can see, is we can't make anything that attacks that fast. I think our lowest speed is 2. Also I don't think we can make any legal pets with that much in resists. Most I seem to have gotten away with was 10% Kinetic in a CL10 pet. I've also been able to squeeze in a special in a CL10 pet, such as Dizzy Strike, but at the cost of the Kinetic.

two dasher dna (lizzards on dant) with 3 pup dna **will** give you 14%-15% kinetic/blast res 3.6/4k health ham 3k action ham and 1.5k/2k mind ham.
The only thing to keep in mind is the sample from the dashers **need** to be 550 hard or under (for the phy) and 550 or under dex (for prowless).
Also you want to try and find pup dna with intelligent under 10.
Put em together (first two slots dasher, last 3 pup) exp once in phy, mental, psy and you get an awesome CL10 pet.
Too many people dont pay attention to the stats on the dna from the dashers... hard and dex over 550 will likely push your clone to the CL11 range. **Remember** every critter you sample from gives you a dna templet that is going to vary.
