How much could I sell a crate of 25 stacks of stim Ds? (player stim Ds not pet ones)

What's the power and charges on them?

Given that I've sold individual InstaStim - Ds for 10k on Ahazi (these are 1122 power, 21 charge made with pre CU ABECs for the relatively high charges), if you can approach those levels, I'd say you could charge a quarter of a million and they'd sell. Level 80 types have money to burn, and need that kind of power available to them.

I've just started a batch of 1106 power, 33 charge InstaStim - Ds in the factory, using 25 C 10 P pre CU ABECs I had lying around.

Damn that's awesome. I wasn't sure about staying BE because you need too many different resources. I was thinking about going architect instead but that definately changed my mind, thanks bro.

Why are people charging silly prices for stims now? I've seen people charge 10k, 15k and upwards just for a stim D. Made with exactly the same resource before CU they'd be selling for 3k, 4k and 5k MAX !

And people spend ages trying to convince others that docs aren't greedy.

I think part of it has to due with people trying to figure out where to price items due to a lack of competition. It doesn't help that stims didn't convert over well and that some people have pre-CU schematics while others don't. I expect the market will shake itself out over the next month or so, until then, expect to continue to see silly prices.

As said elsewhere, the problem is that we just don't know how much to charge for anything anymore. The numbers of sub components needed to make the stim packs has doubled, stats on components made now are completely different to those made pre-CU (ability to put charges on ABEC/BEC/ACRM/CRM/ALS/LS etc.. and the power ratings being so wildly different to things before that they are like different components) also... there seems to be a huge absence of anyone selling Stims on my galaxy and planet (and believe me, I've driven around all over the place to get prices so I could be selling competitively), so its a matter of trial and error.

I've even put a ReadMe Travel pack on my vendor, asking people to mail me if they would like to come to a deal on ANY of my crafted meds, whether they're Stims or Enhancers .... but I still can't see me selling many enhancers.. so that leaves me with Stimsales as my main source of income

especially with only being able to create 150+level pets

I've got my Stim Ds at 7000 each/18000 for 3/30000 for 5 - and half that for the converted over stim Ds (which are basically rubbish).. .and every time I put some on my vendor they disappear immediately.. but if I charged more than that I would genuinely feel guilty..

(gawd, its been ages since I replied to anything and I've lost the 'quote the post' bit.. :smileyhappy

I sell my Stim D's for 8K each now. I am making about 150% profit off of these, but they are way better than the 600 base right now. Mine hit between 1123-1125 w/ 36 charges at the moment. I sell the pre-nerf Stim D's for the same price too, and they hit for 1239-1240 base w/ 32 charges.

Resource costs on the new Stims are:

Stim-D = 3380 cr
Stim-C = 1080 cr
Stim-B = 820 cr
Stim-A = 480 cr

(10cpu high quality resources/50cpu high quality creature resources - that's the going rate on Scylla at least)

Now add the cost for factory, storage, shop, vendor etc. and you'll see that 8K, heck even 10Kisn't greedy at all. Personally I'm selling Stim-D's for 6K, Stim-C's for 4K, Stim-B's for 3K and Stim-A's for 1K.

I'll be honest, I'm trying to find out what the market will bear. No one has a scatter pistol pointed at them at the bazaar forcing them to buy my stuff. I sold the first InstaStim - D I put up on the bazaar for 5k in less than two hours. So I figured I'd raise the price. They're still buying them. When they don't sell, I'll discount them.

The thing is, before the CU, non-medics couldn't use StimDs or Es at all. Heck, you had to have a lot of the old med use line before you could use a StimC. This is a new product aimed at an entirely new market: level 60 and above non-medical players, who at this point in the game, are usually well to do.

Also, the higher charge version are made with pre CU components that have been drastically nerfed post CU. Charges on ABECs and power on ALS have been significantly changed, and not for the better. I'm asking less for my StimDs that are made with post CU components, even though the resources used in them are identical to those used prior to the CU. Given the low resource requirement for ALS this is particularly noteworthy.

I tried using some janta blood one of my guildies looted...they had fewer charges and the same power as crafted stims with pre-CU componets.

I'm charging 10k for my StimD's using pre-nerf ABECs and ALSs that ended up with 1271 power/37 charges. I think that's fair given that it now takes 32 units of herb meat (the stuff I'm using cost me 40cpu but would have given me 66 power ACRDMs before...and that's my cheap herb meat) as well as using the best resources (to my knowledge) for all of the other requirements. I have figured my cost per pack at around 2500 credits and that's using components that I can't replace as well as getting perfect schematics for the components and for the stims themselves as a 12pt crafter. I'm selling newly-made stims (1141/22) for 5k a pack by skipping the herb meat (just CRDMs). And I've been selling them as fast as I can produce them, though only 1 other Doc seems to be making stims on Valcyn at the moment.

I think eventually 1000-1200/18-22 stimD's will be the norm and will sell for 4-8k a pack once most of the pre-nerf components are gone and more BEs start making them.

Thanks for the dif views stated in here. I been a doc for 2 years and am now in limbo on what to charge for stuff. I dont have the stuff to make any of the enhancers so its nice to know i can make a bit of cash off these stim d's.
