As said elsewhere, the problem is that we just don't know how much to charge for anything anymore. The numbers of sub components needed to make the stim packs has doubled,<<This is rubbish, before a stim E had 3ABEC,1Chem,1ALS, NOw its 2 of each!>> stats on components made now are completely different to those made pre-CU (ability to put charges on ABEC/BEC/ACRM/CRM/ALS/LS etc.. and the power ratings being so wildly different to things before that they are like different components) also... there seems to be a huge absence of anyone selling Stims on my galaxy and planet (and believe me, I've driven around all over the place to get prices so I could be selling competitively), so its a matter of trial and error.
I've even put a ReadMe Travel pack on my vendor, asking people to mail me if they would like to come to a deal on ANY of my crafted meds, whether they're Stims or Enhancers .... but I still can't see me selling many enhancers.. so that leaves me with Stimsales as my main source of income
especially with only being able to create 150+level pets
I've got my Stim Ds at 7000 each/18000 for 3/30000 for 5 - and half that for the converted over stim Ds (which are basically rubbish).. .and every time I put some on my vendor they disappear immediately.. but if I charged more than that I would genuinely feel guilty..
(gawd, its been ages since I replied to anything and I've lost the 'quote the post' bit.. :smileyhappy
i think anyone who charges over 7K is definately ripping
one of our more famous docs , matta is chargeing an outrageous 14k a stim!
I've been selling meds for a very long time and I'd say 7k is right on the money if they are over 1k pwr and close to 30 uses. And for those charging more I don't blame them ... until we are able to catch up with demand you have to raise prices to stay stocked.

And people spend ages trying to convince others that docs aren't greedy.
I agree, I think it's ludicrous. Half a million credits for 1 crate?
/faint
I'm making some stim D's, mainly for myself and friends. The excess I'll sell for 3k/ea. Tons of profit at that pricepoint.
I have priced mine at 3k each. If you controlyour resource costs, you will be making quite a bit of money at that price point (well over 100% profit).
As long as you know what you paid for the resources, you can set a price that is going to be good for your business. If you cannot keep the product on the shelves, then you have 2 options: increase production rates, or increase prices. I am considering raising my prices due to high demand. Of course, I am still working my way up to full production capability. If my 4 stim-dedicated factories cannot keep up with demand, I will be forced to increase prices to keep the product on the shelves.
The manufacturing cost per stim is around 2500 cr, if you consider 5 cpu for flora and inorganics and 50 cpu for herb meat.
I like to price my meds on a per charge basis to keep the cost to the customer constant.I plan on selling myStim Ds made with post-CU components (around 16 charges/ 1100ish power) at around 6000 cr each. That's around 400 cr per use. To keep the price comparable to the purchaser, I am pricing my stims made with pre-CU materials (35 charge, 1257 power) at the same 400 cr per use, even though they are of higher power.
The smart shopper will stock up onpre-CU componentstims, since once the pre-CU components are gone, the only way to match the higher power will be with looted components (Janta Blood and/or Enhanced Liquid Suspensions). If not for personal use, they would still be a good investment. I predict they will sell for 50k+ apiece in 4-6 months.

My creature resources are 100cpu on my server. I will becurious to find out if it goes even higher than that once something nice spawns in and since this is now a group based game.
10,000 - 15,000 credits retail is easy if you are doing a 2 times or 3 times cost model.

Doctor and Combat Medic Vendor: -5995, 5315 / Theed, Naboo (1500m from the starport)
Mayor, New Sparta.
That is, of course, correct for the new enhance packs that take creature resources (I intend to sell those with avian meat for 150k per pack, 60k per pack for those with reptilian meat). However, the stimDs do not take any creature resources other than herbivore meat. If you try, I think you will find that people are now (and even were pre-CU) willing to harvest herbivore meats for 5-30cpu.
When the CU hit, I located a very nice reptillian spawn on Naboo. Not realizing how much could now be gathered, I put an offer to my hunters for 50cpu. I now have 300k of the meat and had to tell them to stop harvesting. I don't know that I will ever need that much (I hope I'm wrong on that, but it won't happen until the enhancers get fixed).
OK, I am not a BE but a customer ![]()
10k for a ~1200/25 Stim-D.... Sure, why not: I only use them if everything else fails.
When ur in a group there is a medic/Doc/CM with u most of the time.
When u solo stuff u either make the money to pay that or... dont solo hehe
Enhancer:
I say: Most ppl dont know about them! Tell every1 that they can enhance their heals/poison/disease/whatever! (hmmm, thinking about it: DONT tell them about poison/disease
) They will buy it...
But: I think prices will drop as soon as all the new BEs know how to craft and realise (as all the other crafters): Harvesting creatures gives a lot more resources now. It seems to depend on the cl how much u get. Before it was all about the amount of creatures that spawn, now its about the mission-lvl u get...

I said: numbers of sub components needed to make the stim packs has doubled
DarkDeathDude politely pointed out: ,This is rubbish, before a stim E had 3ABEC,1Chem,1ALS, NOw its 2 of each!

Yup.. Im on about Stim Ds. Stim E's no longer exist - I didn't bother with Stim E's in the Old World, so have no idea what components they used
Ta muchly ![]()
The right sistem for price is :
(0,30/0.35 cr x charges ) x heal power:
Example:
Stim-D 1160 25 ch=
(0,35 x 25) =8.75 x 1160 = 10150 cr
(0.30 x 25) = 7.5 x 1160 = 8700 cr
The factor 0.35 is variable from 0.30 to 0.35 and depend from qualityresources thatyou use.
