hello all Iam trying to make a level 70 pet with 60 kinetic resist. Has anyone made one before? If so I'd love the recipe. The closest I've come to this was a dl 63 nargalatch with 60 kin,using merek harvs 2, and mutant rancor dna. Well Thanks

If you want to try this, just let me know, I havea LVL 85 Woolamander that I would be willing to sell you so you don't have to go through the trouble of sampling. 5 slots of VHQ down the drain.

dang a lvl 85 woolamander I only heard of a lvl 73 to 75 rancor made from sissy rancor dna. O well gonna have to give that a try.

Sorry this was made from Mutant Rancor DNA. Invest in the +25 Mask Scent and you can walk up to regular rancors, Bulls and MR's crawl from behind is best.

I made a CL65 with kinetic in the 50's, and energy of 88%. Ham was high 12's for all 3 and was pretty even for all 3. Damage was mid 500's with a .56 "to hit".

I used mutant rancor in the first 3 and craggy bolma in the last 2 slots.

I put 2 exp pts into each of the ham bars and 2 pts into aggression and ate the rest.

The result was a great success. When I skinned it into a vir vur i was happy to see 65. I didn't want it any higher than that because I didn't want to have the problem of using +taming clothes or only wookiee callable.

Actually, I heard all the talk about how to sample a bull or mutant rancor and was quite intimidated. the fact is, it wasn't that hard at all. With mask scent capped for a CH, and capped +25 clothing-wise and having drank my jawa beer, I was able to use my speeder all the way up to them, jump off and sample. No sweat. It seemed to be the rancor youths that kept breaking my mask scent. The best way is to NOT move once you are within sampling distance. The more you move, and this includes turning, the higher the chance you'll get spotted.

I found the best way is to take 4 Malkloc Plainswalker Youth DNA's, and stick a Merek Harvester in the Aggression. Gives about Lvl 65, 60% Kin, 30% Eng, Light Armor, 60% Stun, about 300 - 500 dam (depending on experiment) and 12 - 13k HAM (low end 13k)

You can also drop the level a lot lower by making uptwo Malkloc Plainswalker Youth clones, all 5 slots in both as Malkloc DNA, and resample both. Then do the above receipe with Resampled in the first 4 and Merek Harvester in the last. If you're lucky (I managed it2 timesin 15 attempts) you get 30 - 35. Most times it'll hit around 40. But with 60% Kin, nice damage, and Light Armor.

The painswalker youth gets you the 13k HAM and 60% Kin. The mutant rancor gets you the high damage to get it up to 70ish. The question is, does it need to be a perfect 60%? I got in the 55-58% range with intimidate and blind specials in the CL60-63 range with 12-13k HAM and damage over 500. You comprise somewhere, but that blind and intimidate with more damage and a higher to hit is worth a lot more than 5% kin in my opinion.
