It took me about 3 weeks.

I didn't grind it.

But.. to answer your question, there's information in the stickies above for holo grinding.

And..

Sample trash critters around Theed or another starter city. I hung out at Restuss and walked around the outer wall. Spawns would be back before I made a round.

Later on, I took Nuna and Kaadu missions from our city on Naboo.

In between, I would go on excursions to Endor and Yavin to fool around. Did well there even at DNA 3.

Sample from non-DBing critters for training to save a lot of cloning time.

Took me about a week, but I didn't grind to the level of most holo grinders. I hear it can be done in a matter of 10 hours.

Novice BE - Yard trash outside of coronet (Durni, Butterfly, etc..)

Sampling 1 - Same as above with some gurcats mixed in.

Sampling 2 - Lesser plains bols (get two missions right next to each other and do not attack the lair. Clear the avaliable creatures then run to the other lair. Milk while you are sampling.)

Sampling 3 - Piket Longhorns (Same as above with two missions. Remember to milk!)

I was able to get around 15k wild and 10k domesticated milk with grinding DNa sampling. I was pretty lucky that both Milk were awesome at the time.

4-5 buff sessions, so basically 12-15 hours. I ground through the profession quickly just because I realized that any *quality* items pretty much require MBE.

You are so right.

if you are a Tat person then:
NBE: Yard Trash
LVL1: Yard Trash
LVL2: Cu pa's, Eopies, lesser dews, reg dews?
LVL3: Here i did many Grizzled dewback Missions
LVL4: Same as 3 and Mt. Squills

Didn't grind just sampled as a prart of my missions was a huge advantage. That's why I can do Bull Rancor missons now with MBE & MCH no combat skill at all.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

3 Days

was the easiest part of BE

Novice:

whatever lvl 10-12 missions I was picking up withBH at the time...dna sampled the entire mission.

DNA Sampling 1:

Whatever lvl 12-15 missions was giving me.

DNA Sampling 2:

Creatures in the lvl 20-25 range (Mind you its been 7months now)

DNA Sampling 3:

Rancors and Sharnaffs...some kahmuriths for easy money. I'd DNA any creature mission I could get without a group (Easy money too)

DNA Sampling 4:

Got this in a few hours sampling Mereks and Ancient Hanadaks on Endor.

Tip: If you can afford SP, pick up a novice combat profession as well. The CL you pick up in missions will correspond quite closelywith the Best XP/Sample you can do at each lvl.

Evyl just mastered. Finally got done with the boring tissue grind. I can't stand sitting at my pC clicking mindlessly for hours.

But.. to add to the topic, I enjoyed the DNA sampling tree. I went to all the planets and took on anything and everything I thought I could stick a needle into. But I got the most XP doing the simple critterspawns that tend to spawn 4-5-6 critters per spawn. I remeember getting half a block on one WILD mountain Ikopi spawn.

So keep a lookout fro non-DBing wild spawns with lots of medium/low level critters. You can be there for hours. If you find Two spawns near each other like I did, you can work each one down and return to the respawned original one.

I bet I made 100 trash pets for Slipstream to train for her CH grind on just those two spawns.

I'm not grinding and I don't have 4 yet, but heres what I've been sampling, been sampling just missions and mobs I see while I run around.

Novice: Newbie mobs on Tat mostly.

Sampling 1: Started sampling Eopies (regular/domesticated), Giant Worrts, Bocatts (semo-successivly) and more newbie creatures.

Sampling 2: Lesser Swarming Dewbacks, a few Banthas, Mountain Worrts, Rock Bettles

Sampling 3: Gurks (amazingly easy and awesome DNA for my skill lvl), Desert Eopies, Bols, Pickets, Greater Desert Womp Rats (did a few of these at 2, but not as easily.)

I'm about 1/4 the way to 4 lol, but I noticed at novice it's really hard but by 2 I'm getting successes almost every try, hardly any agro's, and at 3 I was easily sampling semi-hard stuff on Dantooine and Lok

I get maybe 30-40 samples a day just out in the wild, getting some garbage ones, some really nice and making 4-5 pets a day out of some of it, and I'm gaining xp fairly fast. I'm only at 1/0/3/1 right now, NOT looking forward to having to grind almost 300 constricter cloths to get to Experimentation 2 and beyond.. but ah well. I am noticing that I get pretty good xp for some of the stronger pets, and I hate to grind.. so maybe I'll just wait and train it when I make enough pets to get the 30'000 I need lmao.

My sampling route went like this:

Novice to sampling 1: coronet/tyrena yard trash
sampling 1 to sampling 2: mature reptillian fliers
sampling 2 to sampling 3: malklocs
sampling 3 to sampling 4: mutant baz nitches and
sampling 4: rhoa rwi and giant baz nitches

Did that for a few days with ubese and buffs while doing mission runs.

Don't be too proud of this Jedi Knight you've constructed. The ability to destroy a n00b is insignificant next to the power of the nerf bat.

Novice BE - whatever I could sample: yard trash for the most part and gurcats, bagerasets, krahbus and so on (was on Corellia) until Sampling I

Sampling I to IV - Gurks on Lok: I could get missions for them andI was getting over 300 XP per sample (or 300 per Gurk, it's been a while), plus the payout for the missions. One of the best things about sampling Gurks is that they don't DB (you just have to put up with their yelling at you for sticking a big needle in their rump and slapping you aroung a little).

3 days. Did it all on Naboo.

Novice BE: nightspiders ( a wild lair can spawn approx 30 of these guys)

DNA 1: nightspiders/kaadu

DNA 2: Kaadu

DNA 3: Bolle Bol

DNA 4: Bolle Bol/Fambaa

a Bolle bol would give you between 200-300 per sample and a Fambaa would give ya 500. I loaded up on Muon, and when the downer hit I would sit and craft the samples into pets to get crafting ep.
