A recorder droid who records what DNA samples we put in pet recipes and spits it out as a txt file in the swg directory.

Someone in Rangers forum mentioned a pasteurizing module that could turn wild milk in to domestic milk. Perhaps a BE could craft the modules for the DE. /shrug

How about a special storage device for DNA only. It could finally give us a means for storing those bulky space consuming DNA samples.

I like the "more storage" idea and the "shellfish and fish" gathering idea(... BRILLIANT...). We've asked for a long time for a "dna storage" type of module. That would be huge.
but I'm not a big fan of a dna sampling droid, or a dna sampling assistant droid. I feel that steals a skill from us and also takes a big chunk of what little challenge we have left in this profession away just in the name of "making it easier".
Other stuff? Hmm, I would love to see crafting droids have ratings whereby getting a particularly good one could have a substantial effect on say the critical failure rate.

well there are no schematics in the game that require "domestic milk" right? so what would be the point of doing such a thing? It sounds to me like the rangers are coming up with solutions for problems that don't exist.

what ever you do don't get a harvesting droid, they are a fricken waste of money, slower than sh**, and barely harvest more than you can already with the hunting 4.

How about allowing DNA samples be stored in the Data Module portion of the droid? No need for a new BE only module - a simple fix for us I would say...
Imagine with a Level 6 Data Storage module we could store up to 150 samples - I would be one happy BE
