Thats the question.
Example: Zabrak would most likely work better with TK profession
Thanks for helping =]

it really depends on the rest of your skills.
want an artisan? +artisan experimentation on humans.
want a CH? +taming on iths and wooks.
want a combat BioE? numerous options, including the +10 melee defense on iths, and the /equilibrium skill on zabraks.
what IS important?
for a tissue-BioE? not much.
for a cloning-BioE? MIND. sampling is mind-heavy, and any species that doesn't allow decent mind stats (primarily 'dosh) is going to make DNA sampling more time-consuming... unless you keep a stack of brandy around.
there's nothing that DIRECTLY affects BioE in ANY species. any advantages or disadvantages will crop up in secondary professions, and ideally ANY species can handle the profession as well as any other.

Heathens! You've obviously not seen my in BE outfit. Black sunhat, white suitshirt (black tie), white/white gunman's duster, clay comfortable slacks and black smart shoes (?)... holding a T-21 (naturally)

T-21? I get so close to critters that I can see the evil in their eyes (if they have eyes). A T-21 isn't much use there

That explains why durni's are so evil, it has no way to leave the animal since they don't have eyes!

Agreed. My BE/chef on ahazi is Twi. My BE/CH on Chilastra is a wook.

Twi'leks... bah.
And I am ashamed to see such speciest discussions here. Slandering the proud, upstanding Trandoshans.
I believe Trandoshans are quite humbly the best race for a bioengineer, given their regenerative abilities and fairly good secondary mind attribute. We have no nead for gloves or boots, and we are excellent hunters.
And, contrary to popular belief, I find I save more money on "armor holes", thank you very much.
Twi'leks... BAH. Might as well be a Rodian...
