Arthurdent, perhaps ye should push SOE to add the Kaminoan race.
(for those of you not geeky enough, the kamino are the race that created all the clone troopers)
Stats:
Health Strength Constitution: 0
Action quickness: 0
Stamina +100
Mind +200
Focus: 0
willpower +200
bio engineer assembly: +20
bio engineer experimentation +10
special ability (passive): no wounds on cloning upon death.

Yep, I'd wipe my toon and become a Kaminoan without even worrying about my stuff.

Surely the Yuuzhan Vong would be a better race for BE specialists...
For those who don't read the EU:
http://www.starwars.com/databank/species/yuuzhanvong/eu.html
A few choice quotes...
"The higher a social rank a Yuuzhan Vong achieves, the more his body is modified. Yuuzhan Vong skin is a mottling of scarring and sweeping tattoos, and those of lofty elevation even graft creature or bioengineered body parts onto themselves. "
"Yuuzhan Vong technology is bizarre and perverse, though it is nonetheless effective. The aliens grow their technology organically. All their devices are bioengineered lifeforms, grown and shaped to fit their needs. The Yuuzhan Vong view inorganic technology -- machinery, devices and especially droids -- as an abomination and affront to their gods. "

Sigh, if only they were within our timeline. I love the idea of LS resistant self-healing armor and massive BE tech.
And finally, there is one species the opposite sex might prefer mon calamari over.

Ithorians have a natural 1300 mind and 1200 health (action can be high too, but not enough points to max all three).
