Is anyone selling matched pairs of pets to CHs? Seems to me that 2 lvl 35 pets would be a LOT better than one lvl 70 pet. And could have 4 special attacks. What 4 specials make the most lethal combination?

Can't ask the CH's on my server. All they say is, "Can you make kimos?"

Me - "But they could be woolamanders, or anglers ..."

Them - "Do you make kimos?"

Me - Sigh, "What color?"

Them - "Do you MAKE KIMOS?"

Me - Handing them a lvl 40 kimo "Here's your **edit** kimo! Now get out of here."

Those aren't CH

Anyway CH have been drooling over Kimos since day one, they want to have one just for a status thing.

In a week or it'll settle down, and the market will shift to more practicality. CH have no CL34-35 armored pets available in the wild -period-, and as an MCH I can say that's what I want most of all.

That's what we got hit hardest on this nerf with. No viable pairs of pets for adventure planets. The nerfedpairs ofpets can't survive there at all.

And the 10,000 Kimos everywhere will probably get them removed from the game as pets. The annoyance factor is truly going to suck.

From what I've been able to make so far the 2 mid 30s pets are much better than 1 CL 70.

Reason being is that with the 60% kinetic cap a level 35 can still have light armor and 60% kinetic resists which is just as good as any CL 70 you can have. The dps on 2 mid 30's (on mine at least) is much higher.

Now if I could just get the specials to work out right. For some reason they either have 2 specials or 1 special and light armor. Never all 3.

Right now people want the kimo's cause they look cool and they're new. As soon as the CH's figure out how annoying they are they'll want the smaller, faster skins like spiders and cats.

I am a master CH andBE 1-0-1-1 . I have actually been pondering the 2-35 or 1- 50+ question for awhile as a ch. I havnt had enough time since the update to experiment and truthfully answer which is better yet. At least for PvP, I was thinking I agree with you that 4 specialsare better than 2, but it also depends on the specials. So for me I am not sure, but thats why I am working up BE, so I can experiment and make my own

I can tell you why most CH's now will want the 1 high level pet though. Armor. They removed armor from anything under cl 40, and most ch's think armor is more important than even resists or damage.and, now that we can have 1 pet up to level 70, It is best to have a pet with high HAM, armor and high kinetic resists.

And you have to forgive the fact that some don't understand the new BE system(heck I don't fully understand it), and don't get the fact that a maser BE can make a gnort with the same stats as a kimo. They just know kimo's are a high end pet that was unavailable before and now is available, so everyone wants one.

I am also a MCH/MBE and made a great 2 creature combo. Lvl 27 Gurreck with 10K HAM and Armor and a lvl 43 Kimo 10K+ HAM and Armor. Gurreck has Strong Poison and Dizzy, not sure about the Kimo.

Riverside Sulpher Mynock. Its been my favorite pet for a long time and it seems to be the only pet in that range to get through with its armor. It also has strong disease.

I would have to say 1 pet that is a mount for one simple reason, they don't get stuck when you ride them. If you have any combat skills you'll notice that you can do far far more damage than any pet could ever hop to do. Damage isn't the factor, tanking ability is. On hard mobs that can take down a lower level pet in a hurry, the extra duration of a pet is important. Once one pet goes down, they retarget what damages them next, which is often you. Having 10 pets of the same time in the datapad and just cycling through them seems to work best, and a crate of tents.

I would love a pair of high kinetic resist CL 35 carrion spats. Excellent tanks and mounts all in one.

As a Master CH, Eogi hit it with a Bullseye.

After the Newness of the Kimo wears off MCH's will be Looking for CL35 with Light Armor and The Highest level of Kinetic Possible.. Which I guess is 60%??

Personally, I like the Gurreck and GSP's.. since the cats seem to travel the best of all the Pets.

If your on Ahazi, let me know what You guys come up with..

Since the patch I've made several pets under CL 35 with light armor and 60% kenetic. HAM's over 10k also. These are just biginner experimental pets. I'm sure they'll get better. Take a look at what Tal-N has been doing. Our future's so bright, we need to wear shades. CH's too. They just haven't realised it yet.

CaptainKurt - Thanks for the shout out. Don't discount the spiders. They can keep up with me at burst speed

Just a quick one on spiders vs. cats (speed-wise).

I'm leaning towards the cats, since they can keep up with my mounts at /gallop speed, whereas the spiders fall behind (if gradually).

I've been using a Gurreck or a Gaping Spider Hunter paired with a Mountain Dewback (mount) over the past few weeks, and I find that the spider doesn't quite keep up at gallop, whereas the gurreck does.

Of course, the creature balance pass means that my mountain dewie is now CL21, so I can't use the gurreck with him (spider now wins )......

This is not taking into account the spider's ranged attack and poison either, just commenting on the speed.
