Holy cow.

The other day while i was spamming the spatial trying to sell off my mch pets (dropping it soon) a MBE came up to me and told me he had something i may be interested in after i dropped MCH. In the trade window he showed me a CL 0 RANCOR!!!! Not believing this to be true i managed to coerce him into trading it to me so that i could see if it was true. I pulled out my CL 46 Gnarled Rancor and a CL 24 lizard thing i got from Lok. The total CL from these pets is 70, the max a mch can pull out. Now to test and see if the MBE's rancor was indeed really CL 0 i tried to call it with my those other pets already out.

Imagine my surprise when the darn thing appeared, fully grown apparently (yeah i know i thought it'd be a baby too). It Friggin' sweet. I wanted it so bad but my good karma compelled me to trade it back to him when he asked for 15 milllion creds. a fair price i thought and would have /tipped it to him if only i had that kind of cash just floating around in my bank account.

In anycase i won't reveal his name or post any screenies since he asked me not to (and i'm sure as you can tell by the fact that i gave it back to him, i'm a man of my word), but i was just wondering...

...HOW THE HECK IS THIS POSSIBLE!??!?!?!?!?!?

needless to say i'm def gonna go carreer BE once i'm done grinding some holo profs.

Without screenies your doing nothing more than spewing urban legends. Dont even bother without proof.

I can get several screens of this....I will do it tonight and post them (At work now).

I can call a FULL grown rancor and Gurreck. At master CH, CL Cap is 70....But these 2 add up to CL 100.

Want proof? You'll get your proof.

On my datapad I show them both the same. They are both BE pets.

Up until a few days ago....I could call full grown Snorbal, Rancor, and the Gurreck. Total CL- 130 something.

It's a bug....Not sure if SOE is aware of it....but I at least sent a bug report to cover myself when I use them to show off the bug. lol

I'll bet it was a prepatch untaked deed. All mine are CL0 now.

Exactly what my 3 BE pets are (Only 3 BE pets I have)

It's a Pre-Patch Deed bug that needs to be fixed....or people will exploit it.

I am not sure, however, if a Non CH can us them. I haven't tried the Secure Trade...but Transfer will not let you send the pet to a non CH. Will try the Secure Trade tonight also....(Have 2 characters on the same server)

Check it again and see if its still cl 0 and not cl 8 or 9 now. Every pet Ive made thats under cl10 that ive gone ahead and tamed and raised to adult, it has stayed cl0 even though advancing in ham. The second to the last day before adulthood they would say cl0 and have their full ham but on the next growth spurt they would correct to the cl8 or cl9

It should grow in hit points and level internally but still remain level zero visablly. As soon as it reaches higher hit points corrisponding to level X, it won't be callable above the 70 lvls. I have several of these myself, they now count as normal level pets fully grown, but read level zero. My gurrecks are lvl 50 in str, and counttowards the 70 levels of control, but level 0 on my datapad.

I will prove mine tonight.

They are both full grown, and have been for a few days now, and I can still call both the Rancor and gurreck....well...Could last night...Haven't today because I had to go to work. Will check it tonight...But I am sure you will see what we are talking about when I post the shots

Just cause you can call the rancor and gurreck doesn't mean much. The gurreck is lvl 50, so maybe the BE made a lvl 20 Rancor, as far as i know that is possible with a good bit of work. Whats the HAM/damage on that rancor?

I assure you that my Gurreck and Rancor are CL 50. They were made pre-patch.

There is definately a bug with pre-patched pet deeds becoming CL 0 when you tame them. Im sure this will be fixed. BTW I wonder if this works with pre-patch kimo deeds?

MTDewback: How dare you insult my integrity (can't spell worth cow dung). If all you can is post flame about something you obviously know nothing about then you ought not to post. As you can see there are ppl here who seem to have it figured out.

I have some deeded rancors that i got b4 the patchlying around my old PA Hall, i'll go and check out their theories when i get back from my holiday travels (internet cafe right now). Too bad the devs will prolly fix this b4 i get the chance to take full advantage of a CL 0 rancor. :-/

The way this bug works is that pre-patch deeds become level 1 when fully grown after being tamed (level 0 before this). This level applies while in the datapad, but once called, the actual level is used.

I have two gurrecks, one wild, and one pre-patch deed tamed and now fully grown:

• If I call the wild gurreck (CL50/50) then I can call out my bugged BE pet (CL1/50)


• If I call the bugged BE pet (CL1/50), then I cannot call out my wild gurreck (CL50/50)

I've filed a bug already, and it will probably be fixed sometime after the holidays.
