Thread: Advanced components
i know resources are dependent on server, but of the three main stim components, which of the resources are the easiest to navigate to for a solo doctor/carbineer?
Lokian Wild Wheat
Dantooine Berries
I'm only going to focus on one advanced component for now, so if Lok is easier to navigate, then I can easily convince my friends to join me on maintenance missions twice a week to Lok. If Dantooine is easier, then I can easily move there.
Thanks in advance.
I would lean toward abec before als just because abecs are used in more items. I personally feel dantooine is easier to navigate than Lok, there creatures are tougher, but the aggro cons are spread further apart and usually easily circumvented. However you can reach lok from both naboo and tatooine, which makes for cheaper travel expensive, where as dantooine is from corellia.
What you are most likely going to do, is get a big surplus of one high quality resource and then switch the next type when it expires.
The issue with factories not pulling from crates is, in theory, being delt with in the upcoming mega patch.
Well since Stim Ds won't recognize it and since I'm going to be using it mostly for healing stims, I guess you're right and I'll be using it for Liquid Suspensions.
Thank you!

You sure? didnt see anything on the in dev notes about them fixing crate issues....
the only thing I saw in the dev notes was around factories pulling from crates. Right now I have to pull out 50 BEC's, 50 LS's, and 50 CD's from their crates in order to run 50 stim B's. Really annoying. That's supposed to be fixed now.
I don't think they've announced a fix for the schematics not recognizing identical adv components.
Not my biggest grip in the game. But could someone explain why an advanced component that requires fibreplast and liquid petrochem (Advanced Dispersal Mechanism) requires conductivity? This component, which derives (now, which means devs looked at it) requires 66% Overall Quality and either 33% Unit Toughness (I can accpet this) or 33% conductivity.
Nothing going into this device can ever have conductivity. which means that our dispersal mechs will always be gimped as both resources have 0 conductivity scores.
The infection amplifier, however, which uses aluminum, has an entry for PE. perhaps these just got switched?
I'm not totally complaining. Gorath just got class 2 liquid petro. It has a 2 potential energy, and I'm glad this stat is not addressed. But still, 2 is better than 0.
Dispersal Mechanisms are one example for Combat Medics, their components don't have any conductivity to speak of. Enhance Kits are are an example for doctors, their components don't have any Unit Toughness.
Hopefully, as some of the issues that the majority of Doctors and CMs see(those people still trying to work their way to master) are resolved, these flaws will also be addressed.
Wonder how you guys get the materials for advanced components for the medical components...
Harvestor? Or do you go sample? Seems like the harvesting would be pretty expensive...
Then get the stuff, check density and repeat.
That's the way i did it and amassed huge stockpiles (100k+), Sell the surplus to medical classes for a nice sum.
I was wondering if anyone knew what components affect the stats for the meds, if i want the best effectiveness meds what component should i used advanced in, and for charges, etc...
thanks

BEC will boost charges and power, thus its the best if you can only get one.
the other two will help boost the power.
