All survey tools are exactly the same. The only thing that changes is the range, but thats based upon your Survey Level in the Artisan skill tree.

Sorry, this might be a stupid question but how do you

put resources together...?

For example in my inventory I have like 7 piles of the exact same resource now and I want to put

it in the same pile.

Just drag and drop them on top of each other, if u get the hand they are stackable if u get the no smoking symbal there not.

The resources need to be absolutely identical for them to stack, down to the Resource Name and stats. Most likely you'll end up with seven or eight seemingly identical icons called 'Steel' in inventory, but on inspection they'll have different names and properties.

I'm totally new to merchant so please forgive the simplicity of this question.I just want to create a plan to master merchant & would likt to understand how it currently works.

When I sell an item on the bazaar does it give merchant experience?

When I sell an item on my vendor does it give merchant experience?

Any additional advise to start me out in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The first thing you want to do is check out this merchant guide. Draznar has put together a good collection of all of the information we have come accross over the past few months. It will answer most of your questions. As to how to proceed, there are hints in the guide for that as well but the true answer depends on what your goal is for the Merchant profession.

I played SWG for a month after release and only just now came back. I decided to do something different and play TKA but I have a question I didn't see on the FAQ.

How do TKAs compare to other melee classes, specifically fencers? In specific, I am wondering about the lack oftargetted attacks likebody hit and bleeds. Do TKAs use the three targetted attacks from the far right column, or do they use KD and just whittle away at all three? I ask because I am getting frustrated at unarmed 3 and having to get nearly all three HAM bars down to kill something. It seems lke being able to hit the same bar every time means you kill 3 times faster.

Hello.

I grinded to constr 4 to be able to build a city hall for my PA. I'm not very good at architecture... These critical failures I hear about scares me because we're poor and losing all resources because of this crap sucks.

From what I hear the risk of crit failure is bigger when you experiment, so my question is:
Do you have to experiment when building a city hall?

Is there any other way of avoiding crit failure? I heard there was a way to do it with a macro or something. Thanks.

The only items you need to experiment on as an Architect are harvester components and harvesters. While you _can_ experiment on other things, it is not necessary.

If you have Business III you can set up a vendor. You click on the house terminal and the Create Vendor choice comes up (the house has to be public to place the vendor). You get more vendors, and more choices if you train Novice Merchant and start working on the Management tree. You can have a total of 6 vendors when you finish that tree.

And a critical failure on experiment in a Building Deed wont hurt you anything. Critical failure on assembly is anothe story. Now have "the" handy macro ready.
