I believe you have to get a newschematic when you drop the skill (Novice Tailor) and relearn it.

Not 100% sure though.

You're 100% correct.

Nice title. Do you have a character on Eclipse as well? My museums need a new look.

I dropped tailor a long time ago and i still have the schematics in my datapad. They never left. I dont know if they disapear when you relearn but for now they are there. I wonder if i could still build some things. hmmmm

If I wish to learn a schematic and then drop the profession, will i still know the schematic if i do the same profession over again. In this case the Droidsmith Toolchest schematic and the Tailor profession.

Gah, sorry, I can't find the post anymore, but I remember reading accounts from a few people who've dropped the profession and have kept their limited use schematics. Based on what I've read, you should be able to use the schematics again once you've re-learned the prerequisites.

How do I make them to make factory crates??? I havecrafted many times, but NEVER get to option to create the draft schematic. The only pain in the rear that I am having as smuggler thus far, is having to make a clamp or laser knife everytime I slice, soley because I cannot get a schematic to make crates.....

Craft your item using a Weapons, Droid, and General crafting tool while standing near a crafting STATION of the same type. You'll then get the option to make a factory schematic (the option is at the end of the process)

Ok I was just woundering, I am a chef and I wanted to know if you can still get schematics for food recipes. Like before you could get fried Icecream and what not.

A lot of foods were removed during the revamp back in February, including most of the well-known ones like Tat Sunburn, Angerian Fishak, Glazed Glucose, and Fried Icecream.

The side effect is that the ones we kept are actually mostly useful.

You can see the current available stuff at the links given in the "Read this" sticky.

Crazy idea, what if they had chef quests somewhat like the dancer quests, to unlock the old chef schematics such as sunburns and whatnot. Sure the foods would only be useful in certain situations, but it would sure add a uniqueness to chef
