Many thanks.
Do faction pets count on the max amount or pets/levels a CHcan have out? Example: coulda Master CHin theory have 1 Rancor and 3 AT-ST's out all at once? I'm sorry if the answer to this is common knowledge.

Here i got a question that i havnt seem to been able to get answered....
(note i am a wookie, and answer acorddently plz)
At the most currect update, can i or can't i have two graul maulers out? And at what level?
Btw ppl keep saying that because im a wookiee i can have 3 ceatures out at master CH.... is this true right now? or was that before the nerf?
I.e. if the statments are true above, i can have 2 graul maulers and a greater sludge pather out at 1 time as Master CH.
Thanks in advance,
i've asked everywhere but the forums here, and no one has a steright answer for me.
someone has now told me that its not maulers, just regual ones with a GSP...
so i.e. at master CH: 2 grauls and a greater sludge pather out at 1 time?
i sure hope its maulers and a GSP...

Oh, some more Questions for a BE to answer:
Are BE pet stims (healing kits) better than medical stims? Do they have usage requirements? BE pets stims are better in most ways. They have no usage requirements, so no medical skills are needed. They do not function on players, only pets. They do recover mind injuries, which medical stims do not. They heal exactly what they say they heal for, with no random variations. Very high level pet stims can get up to 1600 damage healed at one in all three HAM bars - but they take 24 fish to make, which is very hard or expensive to get, so expect to pay a lot for them
Can I get a crate of pet stims? No, you can't. BE good are not able to be made in factories. Eavery one must be hand crafted and experimented. This prevents them from being crated. It also drives up the cost.
What would I go to a BE for? Pet Stims, Vitality Packs, and certain creatures.
Updates to this:
BE Petstim Packs are equal or better in almost every respect. Petstim A is about equal to a Stim B. AND it will heal a pet's mind pool(or if you have your pets learn Trick 1 and 2 you can heal mind pool/wounds for just a little action cost for those that didn't know)
In the mystical BE update that is coming eventually:
Pet Stimpacks WILL able to be factory produced.
We are getting more and varied schematics, AND our tissueswill beworking.
Bugged schematics will be working...
I will be grinding Blurrgs and Pet Stims if this is true. ![]()
Now on to my CH questions, since I am also a CH.
Q. Best NON CH pet?
A. I agree with the above, but I am kinda starting to like Kahmurra...I can bio them right now with around 2700 HAM and doing OVER 160 damage. I still am not sure how they will fair against CG or the beetles. Kahmurra have a ferocity of 5 compared to the Cowardly Gurreck's 0...Not sure how that affects anything....
Q. Why is it that CH pets seem to be better in most cases the BE pets?
A. Bug from what I have read. BE pets were supposed to be better, because of experimentation. This will be addressed in the next big patch, or the one after that....or never...Most of the BE trees are bugged in one way or another...
Once you get a lot of commands to teach, if you use /tellpet and get interrupted it's VERY easy to get confused on where you left off. A friend passed this tip on from the boards; many thanks to whomever originally posted the tip:
Add a line to the end of your tame macro that reads something like:
;/echo pet attack
So the full macro would read:
/tellpet attack;/echo pet attack
This will cause the words "pet attack" to appear in your spatial window as colored text that only you will see, andyou will have something to check when you resume training.
Again...as another poster asked twice.....
What is the best pet I can use with taming/training IV? Or is there any advantage to going beyond 2/3/0/0 and just using a graul mauler? (this is for a non-wookie)
Thanks,
Kaz
Whoever suggested getting a Spineflap Handmaiden, thanks, I love the little thing already and it hasn't even grown yet. Took awhile to find but atleast I didn't die trying to tame it with the queen and soldiers around, maybe that crawling up really does work. Anyway I also found a male kaadu, and a dappled gualama while out hunting for my handmaiden so it was a good trip. I've heard that you don't need to know the transfer command to sell non-ch pets? Is this true? I could use a supplement to my income considering I prefer to take my pets out than do any real hunting for cash, and this may be a decent way to make a few credits.

P.S. Sorry to repst, but i really want to know...
Vepok - had been wondering about that myself. Perhaps If I put it in the form of a FAQ master Crooth (or a friend) can answer it for us all?
Q. How do I sell a pet to a non-CH?
Does the pet have to know certain commands before I can do this? Do I use the trade window? What does the purchaser need to know about the pet? What's the quickest way to rename the pet for the purchaser? etc., etc.
ADVthanksANCE!

Ahazi..
Q: Do faction pets count against the pet limits?
A: Nope, you can have 3 faction pets plus your CH pets (2 rancors, 3 Grand Wrix, etc.)
Q: How do I trade pets (as of 9/22/03)?
A: The answer depends on the pet level. At 15 or below you can use the secure trade function to trade a pet to anybody - not just CH. You just drag it from the datapad into the trade window. The only problem right now with this is that the recipient won't see the pet being traded. This can, of course, cause concerns about whether or not you are actually transferring the pet. Above level 15 you can only trade pets to a CH and the pet has to know the Transfer command (from Management IV.) Yes, this means you have to have Management IV before you can sell pets above level 15 to other CH.
