I haven't seen an abnormal amount of failures ... but I'm just a lowbie armorcrafter.

I was working on a full suit of composite this morning and was failing around 50% of the time. This is very unacceptable to me. When i say failure, i mean any type of failure from moderate success to critical failure because i usually don't sell any pieces that has one or more moderate successes.

If you are using too many points at once, then that is probably the problem. If not, then you should try logging out and back in if you get more than 4 failures in a row--I have run it problems with long strings of failures, and relogging seems to fix it.

Acutually mine seems better now (since patch). I have gone to 3 points at a time and can usally do a full set of composite with 1 or two failures per suit.

Im still getting critical fails on half or more of my pieces (single point distribution) and it effectivly hinders any custom jobs.

Now, are you spending the points one at a time, or all at once? If you spend them all at once, you'll get those moderate successes less, but you'll also get those critical successes less too.

Hmmm can't really understand this cause I usally get great sucess. Are you watching the litte red bars at the right?

When the middle of the red bars hit the arrow press experiment. I have timed this down pat where I always get Greats. Now I want to time it for Amazings...

Good luck!

I crit failed on 8 seperate Krayt Scale Adv Comp segments during the experimentation phase of the combine.

Armor Experimentation Tapes afford you more experimentation points. (for every 10 bonus points afforded by skill mods, a smith will receive 1 point of experimentation.)

I think Armor Assembly bonuses reduce failures in the armor crafting process.

I feel your pain!

Why can't they leave it alone!? They take away experimentation for the sub components and then when you do the final combine, you can experiment for durability but that doesn't do squat! Now, we can't even reduce the maintenance cost on a house by doing a **edit** fine job (wants to weep).

Would someone please enlighten me as to why they feel they must keep messing with it!?

hi, i am a bounty hunter and i am using my wopping 33 remaining skill points as a novice medic. I have o chem 1-3. Is this a wise choice, also how do you go about experimenting, and what do you do when one of your experiments is a success? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're prolly better off as a MBH going up as a 3-0-3-0 medic. Allows you to use Stim Cs that are experimented down to 30 med use, and allow you to use them for a lot higher than their stats say. A normal non-adv. Stim C is better than an Adv. Stim B, plus prolly cheaper.

yup, better off with 3-0-3-0

buy your meds on the bazzar or find a nice MD like myself to keep you stocked.
