Do you get scouting xp if you harvest the milk from a dead creature?

Do you have to have mask scent? Or just hunting to use the harvest milk command?

Ever see a wookie try to keep within a few meters of a walking picket? Not a pretty sight.

Holy nerfherders!!!!

I'll definitely check on whether this is a bug or not (crossing fingers that it's not).

Couple of quick questions:

1) Are you doing this on Live (pub 9.3), or on TestCenter (pub 10)?

2) Does the amount of milk harvested depend on creature harvesting skill? An easy way to check is to see whether veghash improves the yield. Oooo, how about a harvesting droid?

3) Does milk show up on the harvest radial menu?

4) Does it require scout skills (I'm assuming yes since its based on the harvest command, but something to check anyway)?

I don't care if it is less, if we can ask scouts/rangers to get this from dead creatures (hey, they're still mostly fresh) instead of taking the 20-30s per critter to milk it, I'm all for it.

Ugh, makes me sad. I spent 2 hours last night milking and killing pickets...if only I'd known to target the corse and /harvest milk also, I'd have another 5k of milk. Haha, oh well, excellent find. Now....sssshh. No, it's too bad it'll be removed, milking needs some help. I can gather 10 times the amount of carnivore meat or hide in the same amount of time it takes to get 1 run's worth of milk for bantha butter.

Good point. I'd say that if you've already milked the creature while it's alive (it's in the "dried up" state), you shouldn't be able to also harvest milk from the corpse.

Gah, now I've got to get through the workday wondering about this. Maybe I can slip off early without anyone noticing...

To answer my own question, you don't need terrain II to do this. I just have novice + hunting I, and the /harvest milk works just fine.
