Ok i just recently reactivated my crafter for my wife i am trying to manufacture things for her and i have the items in the factory cept some are in crates...

My question is do i have to take the components out of the crates now in order to make items on a factory run?

Everytime i start up my factory it stops and i get no message that im out of resources since i have alot of each in there im thinking with the CU i have to take the components out of the crates. I have not crafted post CU yes so im not sure whats going on.

Im making Arakyd and Seekers and the items in crates are my gp memory modules and electronic memory modules. Not sure what to think atm can anyone help?

No, you dont have to remove then from the crate.

But,do theyall have the same serial as listed in the Manu. Schematic ?

I am new to the game and am having a problem making money as a novice artisan I do not understand how the artisan mission terminals work i select a mission from it but how do I complete the mission? What does efficiency mean?

Thank you for any help

What kind of mission is it?

There are two kinds of missions you can get from an artisan terminal. The first isa crafting mission, which is basically just a delivery mission, but you have to put some pieces (provided by an NPC) together to make a thing to deliver.

The other kind is a survey mission. These can be a bit confusing, and I think may be what you're doing. The "efficiency" is probably the resource concentration level required.

To complete a survey mission:

1) Move at least 1024 meters from the terminal / NPC who gave you the mission. An easy way to "grind" survey missions is to find resources with a high concentration at a couple of shuttleports or starports. You take two missions in Mos Eisley for the type you found in Bestine, you shuttle over (or use a pilot starter ship), hit those known spots, then do the same thing in the other direction.

2) Survey for the resource type specified in the mission details. Most survey missions have a general resource category ("mineral", "metal", "reactive gas", etc), you can choose any spawning resource that falls under that category.

3) Find a spot with a concentration percentage at or above the one in the mission details. You have to be standing on the spot (so that percentage must be in the center of your survey map), just getting a waypoint on the spot isn't quite enough.

I really did look at the stickies. Im probably just missing it.

What I would like is to have a bantha in my cantina named after a friend.

Is it possible to name a pet on the deed so it can be dropped in a structure and have that name come up?

If you ask a BE to make a Bantha for you and tell him the name it shoud have, it will work. But make sure you don't tame it, just drop it in the cantina.
