Personally going MBH/MP/carbineer 0440, you hit all 3 pools and get state defenses from Carbineer and I'll dump the rest in ranged FS boxes.
With the CU, I believe Health will be the only attackable pool, so the advantage may be the amount of states to put onto a target with your setup (not sure, never looked into carbineer).

I've been a Bounty Hunter most of my character's life, but it's starting to get a bit over-crowded and I'm looking to try somthing different.
I have been thinking about taking a pure brawler template but I was wondering which template would be better for tanking and/or damage.
The templates I was thinking about were:
Master Brawler
Master TKA
Master Swordsman
Pikeman 3-4-4-0
or
Master Brawler
Master TKA
Master Pikeman
Swordsman 3-0-4-4

seems pretty good to me, but if i were you, i wouldn't invest your sp in x11x marksman, but use those sp for rifleman.

Hey all I most recently just finished up my last phase to become jedi, but I am not sure if I want to wait to get different FS skills cause I don't plan on going MLS
I have unlocked Melee Defence, Accuracy, and I am wondering since I am not going MLS would it be worth it to wait to unlock Melee Speed to have a completed FS temp insteady of having Survival and Ranged acc..
Also what saber skill tends to stand out as the better one to have? I had been debating on going 1h, but would it be better to go DB, or 2h?
Thanks for your help in advanced
Planned Template
LS 4-0-0-4
Healer
4-0-0-0
Master Defender
4-4-4-4
Enhancer
4-0-0-4
This also leave 13 skill points left over to play around in, any corrections or suggestions for improvement in this template is also welcome

I 100% agree with you on the fact that Master Defender just seems way to powerful and way to used by everyone.. I say this anytime I go up against one with my 1255 max dmg power hammer and master doc heals and still get completely owned 1 on 1 but to my defence I am on 56k and witht he lag I can get sometimes I wouldn't want to die to a BH just because I lagged out and didn't heal in time.. I have debated over this and think that because of this Master Defender is the way to go, not as much skill used but at least I wont have to worry a ton about lagging out in a fight (hell I cant even go to tat anymore...)
Oh yeah and with armor break with 2h? Whats the big deal with that? Is it just a weaken thing cause I thought that LS cut through armor anyway since nothing has LS resist now.

Would MCH / M-doc be a good combo? Seeing you can buff the pets and heal during battle. I could also use a ranged carbine, like the Nym Slug that uses no skill to use. etc
Any advice?

well, for CH, it doesn't really matter what combat prof you take as your second prof.
Because no single prof can really make that you CH prof benefits from it (in the way of more specials, more defense,...).
So the point is, just take another prof you like together with CH...

Well, I've said this in another forum, but my opinion (and I wish it wasn't this way) is that for the most part, you need to think of your creatures as damage or a DOT, not a tank. Virtually anything that you do will take aggro from them, unless they can survive for about a minute, then you can get a shot or two in before you take aggro.
The 2 exceptions (somewhat) that I've seen to this is the conceal shot from rifleman and the DOTs from CM (poison/fire). Both of these I seem to be able to do w/o getting aggro. I'm experimenting with MCH/MBH/CM 1/3/0/0 right now, and I can easily take level 81 NS Rangers with a attack/follow macro for pulling, letting the 3 girls melee while I put the poison/fire on and let them tick for a bit, afterthey are about1/2 to 2/3 healthI can add an occasional adv. crit shot in for damage. No auto attack, just single shots here and there. Also, with no autoattack, your creatures should pull aggro back in 3-4 rounds of attacks if you happen to pull it.

The template looks pretty good but it all depends on your personal play style. Myself If I were your and you wanted the Rifleman skills I would go Rifleman 0/4/0/4 because you would get the Cover Up and Improved Conceal Shot along with some nice Ranged Defense Mods on top of that.
Hope this helps and good luck
