I soloed it with my dunelizard. I had no armour but a good shield and decent guns. If you can, get engine overload 2, weapon overload 3 in addition to your neutral programs. EO2 will allow you too keep pace with the A-wings. And don't destroy them, disable them one at a time. That will reduce the number of shots you need to take them out of action. Good luck

If you have some good RE'd L8 cannons at 3500 damage (give or take a 100 points), id use a dunelizard. If not, THEN id use a rhxirk. 190K mass and 3 gunmounts is a good solid kick in the pants.

I just read the 'Blue Glowie' thread made me excited because maybe for once jedi could become the rare and legendary players that they once used to be. 'Jedi' used to get me really really excited... now it somtimes even pisses me off. Therefore we need to get jedi out of MOP and into hiding again. Return the game to its original intention (side note the more rare jedi are the stronger they can be *wink* *wink* ). That is why i really like Blue Glowie, it makes jedi a risk again, a little more player friendly for padys, and makes them powerful figures again... that when you see your jaw drops and you check to see if you are overt really quick . There is one big problem tho. Once again... its another punishment. I dont like punishments do you like punishments? lol didnt think so . Its so commonly misinterpretted that jedi NEED punishments... thattheir gameplay needs to be living hell. This isnt like real life so rewards can work just as well if not better than punishment. What do i mean by reward? Make a Jedis life much more happy for not running into MOP and slicing down every SF player they see. I think if one thing is done just one and possibly the easiest to impliment for all you Devs out there Add Jedi vs Jedi Factions and make them fun. Keep the jedi out of GCW you dont have to nerf themor make them little blue ghosts running around just keep em out of site... THATS ALL. Then add tons and tons of penalties to the GCW... make one very annoying penalty for death while participating in GCW perhaps blue glowy.

Attention Devs... you dont have to fix the GCW... you dont have to fix Vis... You dont have to nerf Jedi anymore!!! All you have to do is take this idea to the Extremes...
-Make punishments really really reallyannoying for GCW or showing your face as a jedi at all... make it the 'living hell' for jedi as it should be
-Take out punishmentsfor pure FRS players
This means that you can make Jedi as strong as you want but it wont effect the people around them anymore. Jedi once again becomes the legendary unstoppable proffesion... just as rare and no punishments!!!! (imagine pre pub 9 without perma death)

of course this applies to knights... padys should have punishments too (no going into the negatives with xp thats completely rediculous)

Seems so very simple huh? And it could very well work! Although im no Dev or anything and my posts are very 'spur of the moment' so PLZ tell me your opinion on this. We want to find the most simple way to make Jedi and non-Jedi happy.

I would just get novice medic if i were you, and use novice brawler to /warcry/intim the jedi, and even warcry/heal. I was Mpistol 3040 BH 0040 smuggler for along time and i LOVED that template, atm im MBH/Mpistols though

I have been a combat profession since I started playing and now I'm considering giving it all up & trying life as a crafter (dropping all combat skills). My question is this:


Without combat skills do you still have fun playing the game or do all of you have an alt?


Something about surveying for resources, crafting, and setting up a nice business sounds like fun....

I just recently made my all crafting toon a pilot. It seems to be working for me. I do have an alt, but I rarely play him. ground combat seems so bland to me.

So I can't log on to my commando due to crash bug TYVM SOE. So here it is, your typical "How does this template look?" thread. This is what I am looking at for when I finalize my /respec period.


MCommando (duh!)

MSmuggler (always wanted to do it, just never did) -> Smuggle fix coming soon!

21xx TKA -> Power Boost + Improved Center of Being. For those of you who have not done TKM, Power Boost = 500 health and Improved CoB = +500 to ALL Defenses. CoB is by far one of the most impressive skills defensively for non-Jedi IMHO.

xxx3 Pistoleer -> Improved Stopping shot and melee/ranged defenses.



Currently I am playing around with other profs while I still have respec time left and don't even have any commando skills. However this is where I am coming back to. Respecing to Master Commando is the only thing on that template that is non-negotiable. I also really like TKM with innate armor, but TKM+MCommando = bleh now days so I cannot do that in my final template. BTW, using TKM as a means to have 6000 innate armor while you grind thru other professions is awesome too...
