I always enjoyed running by your guys shops to see how our weapons compared.

I just don't see how WS will be fun after this thing goes live.

I am really close to being gone too, I may just make 1k factory runs of every basic weapon(no need to conserve resources anymore), before I give up. Then sell all of them at 10 credits each... make sure no one in the galaxy will be needing a weapon.

Offer all auction winnings to one of my vendors at my store.

It is sad to see SOE willing to destroy the rich economy this game has supported all these years. The "player-run economy" was one of the revolutionary things they touted when the game released; now they're taking a crap on it the size of Montana.

We here, like our brethren AS and Chefs and so on, we WERE the economy of this game. We created it. We ran it. It was ours, and it was a thing of beauty. Soon it will begone.

I am sad for this great profession and this great community. To be treated in this fashion is nothing less than a crime.

To all weaponsmiths everywhere I say: Kudos for a job well done. You were a part of a great profession; a challenging one. And you succeeded. WE succeeded in making this profession fun and exciting, and for that, I thank all of you.

Now join me in retirement by purchasing the planet of your choice and giving SOE the finger.

It would be nice to be able to do that - run SWG classic solo, own your own planet- like is possible with UO. Someone should cobble together an EMU, then I could run around Naboo and have it all to myself, kind of like playing Shadowfire the way it is right now.
