Well I'mgiving upmayor. I was one for a few months but got tired of using the skill points for nothing and mostly I don't want to have so many people depending on me if I decide to quit (getting extremely bored in game). Those months didn't bring me much, all my job as a mayor was to grant zoning rights to a few people and change the trainers... not really exciting if you ask me. I got to know a few people and that's about it.I wish they had made PCs/politician more interesting but oh well. Thanksfully I know someone's alt who is going to take over, now it's only going to take me 3 weeks to get people to vote for him /sigh.

I doubt that my Mayor account will ever be able to break free of being Mayor -- assuming that I ever want to. I suppose the only way I will be able to retire will be to wait until Aurora disbands5 years down the road when SWG2 hits the market.


Somedays I like being Mayor. Somedays I dont. But I really wish there was an easier way to get voted in or out.

Yep it didn't work this time, don't think it will work next time either. /shrug it's a bit sad to see that most people don't care about having a mayor without politician skills.

Well, after seeing the NGE on TC Corbantis, I decided I've had enough. I've cancelled all of my accounts, effective the end of November. I may reconsider if SOE comes back from the brink of disaster, but I'm pretty sure that isn't going to happen.


I always considered the WS boards to be my home-away-from-home. You guys and gals are the best. And kudos to all the WS corros we've had...you've all done a great job representing the best community in SWG.

Another Veteran WS gone


Cant express how sad it makes me feel to see our profession end like this and to see all the dedicated people leave because of it. Im still hoping some miracle will happen in the next 7 days, but my faith is wearing thin. We need answers and we need good news and we need them now.

And add a top Lowca WS to the list, as Xixette shall be retiring. There's really not much need for her, since weapons will only have damage and speed/accuracy will be how fast you can twitch. After 1.5 years of collecting the best resources and learning the ways to get SAC+Damage capped weapons made, and all the other tricks, now there's really no need to keep her around as an account. Anybody will be able to make weapons just as good, so there's no longer a point in paying for the account. Too bad too. It was the account I spent most time with over the years.


I've always enjoyed the WS forum. I've learned a lot from you folks and loved the old "Never ask a WS" thread immensely. Luck to all.

Khormid and the rest of the KWI Weapons n wares gang is officially cancelled! Khormid is up to December the rest are gone as of the 13th (perfect date ). Did they basically take the Never ask a WS post and change it so that its the opposite?
