Ok guys I'm Master Pistoleer/ BH 0020 / Smug 0040 / 1000 Medic, and I'm having the biggest troubles in getting cash.

To be decent in PvP we need some high end weapons which cost in the upper mils.

With the recent Solo Group fix, it's hard to gain so much money now, and let's face it, we are physically frail as it is.

Alt character is not an option, I will not put master doc or a master crafting profession in my template, how do I get money?

Thanks

loot hunt, places like the aakuan caves are redily avalable to you. If you rework your template to include novice scout you can also harvest cresture resources for docs/BE/chef folks and make a killing

There is still ways to get money out there. It just might take longer or require a little luck and patience.

Unfortunately, time and patience won't cut it in missions anymore, 6-10k a lair is not going to get me 6 million credit equipment anytime soon.

I've never before relied on the random drops for my source of income, it's not a stable source.

Argh, maybe it wasn't meant to be.

The "good" news is that the economy will eventually balance out to support the reduced income many of us are feeling. Prices will drop, it is inevitable.

That will eventually happen.

Although, on some servers, it may take a while. People have been getting greedy since the game came out. For example, after 2 months of play, when we were getting "decent" weapons and armor (comp in the 50% range, mind you), prices were around 1-2k for a good fgw5 pistol, or 20k for a comp chestplate. This was for the top of the line, mind you.

Now, I have seen some fgw5's (MUCH better, but still just as good as what everyone else is making) being sold for around 7 - 10k each! A single comp chestplate (still much better than what it used ot be, but just the same as what everyone else is selling) go for over 80k.

In my opinion, the prices won't change until one crafter lowers their prices for a full suit say, 20k. Then, when they are quickly sold out, others will start to drop their prices.

Eventually, it will all even out, but it will take some time, and one person to start it.

Sorry about that. I have spent so much time on TC where a good fgw5 is 2-3k and a full suit of comp is around 70k that I am shocked at prices on live servers.

Get some static harvesters and mine ore or steel, whichever happens to spawn in a higher concentration under them. Sell to an Architect or a Shipwright or on the public bazaar. If you have Survey skills or you have a buddy with Survey skills, make them mobile harvesters and move to high concentration spots when you need to.

It's uber income if you do lot swaps and/or have multiple accounts. It's OK income otherwise. It's enough to pay for your foods, buffs, power ups, etc. It's also nice cuz it's passive. You check your harvs once in a while to set them to a new spawn, pick up the resources, pay maintenance and add power.

May the Force be with you.

I'd recommend piloting to make money. You'll need to invest a few 100K's to get your ship(s) up tp spec, but once you can kill tier 3/4's withour problem making money out of looting components becomes quite profitable

Yeah, do NOT group up, and do 12k missions that you can get on serveral planets while NOT being in a group. The whole 12k is allllll yours.
