Wake up and get a clue people, this system MAY be exactly what the DEVS intended, it may not be. But when the Nerf Bat comes, it will hurt the BEs, and you will have no one to blame but yourserlves for the bruises it leaves.
Heh....MCH's (and CH's in general)didn't really have anything to do with it. The pepole that did the vast majority of the bitching were the non-ch's themselves.
What you describe isn't a tank (unless you make a habit of fightingDwarf Nuna and Womp Rats), it's just a house pet.
I get the feeling Siyja, you'd be quite happy for non-CH's to not actually have pets?

Non-CH are not creature handlers. That means they CANT handle another creature than house pet.
The simplest way to achieve your theory of Non-Ch not using anything more than a house pet is for Non-CH NOT to be able to use pets in combat period.
That way CHs can use whatever pets they want for combat and such, non-chs have RP pets and BEs can make whatever they want for both parties.
BUT, until the Devs say this system is screwed up, all you all are doing is asking for a Nerf on one thing or another.
I just went through and solo'd the Narglatch cave on Naboo with 0/0/2/0 rifleman and my super pet. I shouldn't be able to do that, plain and simple.
I was in a large (12-14 person) hunting group last night. There were also at least eight or 10 BE pets in the group, and I can tell you there weren't ten CH's there. Not a single tamed pet until I brought out a baby piket plains walker for a bit of a change. I wish /ex would show the real CL because I was very curious about how many of those were under CL 10 pets.

Actually it was non CH's bitching about everyone and their brother having a gsp or a graul mauler that brought that on. And devs deciding that a dabbler shouldn't have that powerful a pet. MCH's didn't care, they used pairs of graul maulers.

Again MCH's didn't care, it was everyone else that bitched and moaned about 10,000 cowardly gurrecks everywhere that got this done.

For every MCH post griping about those i'll show you 100+ posts by non CH's complaining. MCH didn't gripe at all, we made money selling those pets and kept our mouth shut hoping we wouldn't get nerfed yet again. Master CH's haven't asked for any of this.
The only comment from CH's that was common was that some pets like the graul mauler should have been a about a CL 45 or 50.

Berealistic, a 10k HAM, 48% resists pet at CL7 is obviously out of whack by at least 20 levels, a nerf is obviously coming, and all we can do is grit our teeth and hope for the best.
The devs do what they will do. If it was intended and they think it's right they wil say so. We all know that most likely isn't the case though.
Not allowing the pet to fight would not eliminate the problem. You'd still have an issue with somebody just getting the Novice CH box (49 skill points) and then having access to incredibly powerful pets due to the currently brokenBE creature CL system. Only high level CHs should be able to use those pets, otherwise why spend the points to become high level if you only need Novice to get all the benefits?
The fact remains that the CL system will have to be fixed.
The CL system from BE's and in the wild is totally out of whack. There is no consistancy in any of it. Makes me wonder what the devs were thinking when they started writing up this creature "balance..."
All of you are not thinking about one very important fact, which is that CH IS the most commonly mastered proffesion in the game.
And everyone is here is arguing over what THEY think is unbalanced LOL.
The last thing the DEVS want to do is create MORE CH's even though recent changes have promoted the CH proffesion more. Think outside the box the AT-ST and the use of all Faction pets in PvP has promoted and increased the appeal of the CH proffesion in general.
The devs' now this fact and if they swing the NERF bat again at these not SUPER level 10 pets but nice ones, then the CH proffesion will only increase and there will be even more dabblers than before.
I personally was on my way to becoming a CH simply so that I could keep the freedom that I was accustomed to, which of course my 3 AT-ST's and 1 Cowardly Gurreck provided. They have taken away this force that I once had and have replaced it with a okay CL10 pet that has become my best friend. Yes it has 9k HAM yes it has 48% resists across the board, Yes it doesn 250-300 Damage LOL....... What does that mean? Well to all you crybaby BE's and CH's it upsets you I'm sure because your are afterall a crybaby.
It means that I now have a meatshield. Something to help me when times are rough and to take the hits for me. Not unlike a police dog who jumps up and takes the bullet hit for his master. That is all it does, is that it delays the creature I am attacking for a few more second allowing me to get a couple more shots off.
Man I can't belive how many pissant crybabies are so upset over this LOL.
In this thread I have read Bothan puppy dog whines saying he is too powerful because he as a novice rifleman and good pet can take on a narglatch cave I believe............ Well I should hope so because Narglatches aren't tough animals LOL......... Geez.
I read Crybaby Twilek CH/BE complaining that non-ch's shouldn't be able to use animals at all except for looks LOL. Yeah okay.......... that means that you shouldn't be able to use any weapons period at all unless you of course are marksman and have some quals. That mean no republic blaster or CDEF weapons at all for you..... Which I'm sure you don't mind you have the most powerful weapons in the game which are creatures anyway...... Stop crying LOL.
I read a guy saying that CH's don't cry and that CH's never have cried NERF or CHANGE that is was always Non-CH's that were upset LOL.............. Why the hell would we be upset LOL we need CH's to take on any high level creature LOL, the last thing we want is for them to get nerfed beyond belief LOL.... and kid whoever you are that says it's the NON-CH's complaining read the Crybaby Twilek's posts in this thread LOL and stop reading only your own posts maybe you will see it's not the Non-ch's that brought the hammer down upon themselves it's the CH's themselves just like what some of the BE's are trying to do to themselves.
Overall this is the TIME of the BE! Why make it end so soon? The consumer's are shifting from CH's to Non-CH's because Non-CH's rely on BE's to make them pets that actually have a use and aren't just taking up space in someone's datapad or in their house. To all CH crybabies saying that BE's can make better pet's than can be found in the wild............. HAVE YOU EVEN LOOKED OR FOUND A RARE BABY AND TAMED IT? Hell no you haven't you are just crying because CH's are losing their market to junior CH's and dabblers........... In other words the BE changes are taking business from CH's who sell pet's to lower level CH's.............. Get over it quit crying and go find a Rare baby... yeah that means you may have to actually work to make money like all other proffesions LOL. And lastly for all the idiots that think that NON-CH's Brought the NERF bat to CH proffesion you are wrong, however I do admit that I once complained long long ago about the CH proffesion after I had lost my 2nd AT-ST out 5 that I bought total.......(I'm a Zabrak so the Faction point total comes to 94,500 total spent on AT-ST's not including rank)........ So I was upset that they have the perma death and that CH's could use super pet's without fear of losing them.... I admit that I was wrong now I shouldn't have bitched but I did......... but it wasn't myself that brought down the hammer on the CH's because there are thousands more posts by master CH's yelling to nerf the Dabbler's......... because most MCH's I have come into contact with LIKE being the PvE powerhouse and want to keep it that way and not distribute their power to any other players.
My advice to everyone...... Quit Crying LOL.......... I hate it.... this forum is filled with threads saying NERF this NERF that........... geez people act like a bunch of kids in a school yard somewhere crying to the teacher. Why nerf that or why nerf this? We all have that same opportunity? Meaning we all potentially have that ability all we need to do is go earn it..... and spend the skill points on it...... if you don't want to spend the skill points on it or go get that skill then you don't want that ability or that power...... so why is it unfair for other's who do want that ability who do want that power who do spend the skill point who do earn the skill who have that power? Why is this unfair? Why are your crying that they have that power? LOL when you have it too....... or have the EXACT same opportunity to have it at least.............. Quit Crying start playing..................

Guerrila Wars Meaning we all use personal armor NOT military.... so we look like valarians and hutt's fighting in the streets.... not like the Empire and the Rebellion.......... Creature wars meaning that they nerfed all the machines and humanoid pets in the game because of crybabies so of course everyone uses creatures now............which doesn't seem very starwarsy to me.... I want to see droids and stormtroopers and machines etc.. as well as the creatures........ not just the creatures........... not to remove the creatures of course.......just put that StarWars into the StarWars Galaxies really................

My CL10 9k Ham 48% Resist doesn't take a bullet and a bullet and a bullet and a bullet and a bullet and a bullet and a bullet and a bullet that last time I checked on Dathomir when I ran into a few mountain clan witches that didn't like us........ It went more like bullet and another bullet for him..... then a bullet and some Focre Something for me lol.
I guess you are right.... my CL 10 level pet could take that many shot's though........ from a Naboo Holy Man LOL.
