yes Dearic is a good place to start. tamed my first couple NW of Dearric. Seen lots south of Dearic where I used to live.

They like the area.

I used to do a circle starting about 1500 out from deadric do south and headed east I would only get about 90 degrees before I found a baby.

Yeah there are always a few there, looking to be tamed.
And if you're lucky you can see a mire marauder, you can't tame it, but if you like the GSP you're going to love him

I went SE of Dearic and found not much of anything. Then rode towards Imperial outpost and still nothing. The started ride back to Dearic again and was getting depressed at this point and saw a dead log so I sat and waited for the spawn. Almost fell off my bike when Greater Sludge Panthers spawned. I killed the 3 adults and then hit the log and a baby popped out and I tamed him first try and then hit log again and another bay popped out and I tamed him too first try. My goal was 2 of them and I got em.

Took about an hour.

The tip that they are in dead logs was the key to finding them.

I got 2 GSP, they are really nice pets. Good luck raising them to adults

sorry, i had some tips on finding these however theres is a certain individual campign this static spawn point and selling them at extremely high prices so im taking this down. sorry

Best way to stop him is to let everyone know where it is so he doesn't have a monopoly.
