I don't know where GSP's can CURRENTLY be found reliably, or even on your server (as I play on Gorath), but I am more than happy to tell you what has worked for me in the past (as I once caught 5 GSP's in about 1 1/2 hours).

When I want to tame a GSP baby, I go to Dearic, Talus (make a waypoint in-town) and venture out until I'm about 2000-2200 meters from my waypoint. I then proceed to completely circle the city (staying about 2000-2200 meters from my in-town waypoint). This gives me the ability to avoid unnecessary aggros while still searching for those elusive babies. Like I said, sometimes it takes a while, but I've only had to log ONCE without finding a baby within 1-2 hours. Don't know if any of this info is out-dated, as I haven't needed to tame any more GSP's since I caught that 5 in one night.

Does any 1 know if there is still lairs around or missions cos i could not pull any on talus i have been told that they have been removed. has any 1 seen any lairs around (babys is the main reason that im after)

Talus had a lot of NPC stuff, we did find some lairs, nothing outstanding.

IMO, Endor seems to be the 'zoo of the week'. Dant's been pretty empty, butYavin was pretty goodas well. Haven't been to Dath or Tatt recently.

i tamed a GSP few days ago but it was a random spawn with no lair.

Oops, sorry, yes. I was answering in general. Have seen a lot of boar wolf on endor, more bang for the buck. But haven't seen a baby yet.

Yes it's only Talus for GSP's, and they are just hard to find. They have always been hard to find, but they are almost rare now I'd say. Try finding a CRC on corellia, basically you just have to know where to look.

Get missions for them a baby (well 2 of em) spawns from about every other lair!

Tamed one on Thursday, 1500m outside dearic, a random lair.Same night I got a crimson razor cat 3000, from doaba on correllia.As Im only up to level 32 pets, CRC are pretty much my limit, so it was a good night for me

Thats on Farstar by the way.

Ive seen loads of boar wolves too. Much more than there used to be.

OK, I have finally reached the ability to tame lvl 25 GSP's.

Ever since I first saw one I have always wanted to get one even though at the time I had no CH abilities. So now Ihave the skills totame a baby and logged wearing my +42 taming outfit.

Before I venture out to Talus and start looking for them is there any tips on these or where they are most likely at?

They are pretty much all over Talus. The best way is to just head straight out from the city where the shuttle lands. Go out about 1000m and start tabbing through every yellow spot on your radar. Eventually you will come across some.

NOTE : Ignore "cat town". It's a village on Talus where GSP adults spawn, but no babies. Some people may wrongly direct you there.

Usually I start my ride from dearic head to the imperial station, I come across a few lairs on my way. Also a big hint is that Greater Sludge Panther's have dead logs as their lairs, so be on watch for these.

I'd head SE of Dearic, head out about 2000k to the swamps; should be lots of GSPs around for you to tame. GSPs tend to hang out in low, swampy places, for the most part, but I've seen them in the foothills W of Dearic past the battlfield, N of the kahmurra research station and the dung mite cave.
