ummm nope on the MDH's. I think I'm cose to the same template as you. A little brandy and some stims and I'm good to go. Rather disappointing really. I'd like something that has "Death's Head" in it's name to turn me into a pile of goo in the first hit.

New DNA sampling outfit is an extremely revealing skirt with a metal bikini top - both have mask/camo. If I'm cold I can put on my cloak which has mask/camo/taming bonus.

Haven't had any complaints from the creatures I sample.

Interesting... a diversion tactic, never tried that before. My tactic was through a stone at their head and see if they collapse unconcious, if theydont then i run off screaming like a little girl.

No no not hawtpants vs Camopants

I know I saw a similiar thread some time ago but durn if I can find it >< so sorry, I'm sure this prolly comes up regularly.

But anyhow, I'm *tired* of armor. It's expensive. I swear it deteriorates 2X-3X faster post CU. I liked it better when it just encumbered us! And now the BE tissues are (apparently) working again, I was thinking about getting with a tailor and getting some BE pants and some more - rustic - clothes, for skill tapes. Atm my Ranger runs around in a shirt, padded arms and ubese pants that're about to fall off, they're so full of holes from critters'.

So, I'm wondering whether to purchase Ranger type skill tapes (with the added bonus of generally being cheaper) or should I concentrate on saving for ones for Rifle (his weapon) and/or melee defense? On the other hand I suppose a great deal of those skill tapes are for armor >< I saw a beautiful one on Wanderhome I would have killed for on Starsider (isn't that always the way it goes! lol) - had a bonus to cover and a bonus to terrain negotiation as I recall.

Anyway just curious what otherpeeps find works for them =)

I have a couple of outfits. I have an Aakuan robe that I wear with black and brown camopants +15 camo/mask scent, and a black tight shirt (+12 melee and ranged defense). I've also taken to wearing a Tusken robe with a red warm hat that I looted off of a BH boss mark (my first one). It looks like a Fez and I've gotten several compliments on this outfit. The only downside is that I'm not longer a TKM. That outfit on a meditating TKM would look really nice.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

This won't be much help for you, but i generally do wear armor.

here's my outfit:

Imperial Scout Trooper Armor (minus the helmet)
Black Mabari Armorweave Helmet (the only helm that can get dark black and still look good with scout trooper armor)
Grey Formfitting Undershirt with +16 Melee/Ranged Defense be mod.
Imperial Medal of Honor (Imp Ace pilot medal)

most of my scout armor has 4 sockets, but i don't really have any good armor attachments to use in it.

i wear that outfit because quite frankly, i've been waiting a year and a half to be able to wear Scout Trooper armor, and it just looks REALLY cool. plus with the mabari helm it looks great as you can still see my face, whch would make "scouting" in the wilderness much easier without the blocked perpheral visiion of an enclosed helm.

and when i'm going for a more "formal" kind of look, or when im piloting, i wear this:

Grey Imperial Ace Jacket
Light-Grey Large Headwrap
Specail Edition Goggles colored White (Zee goggles do nuzzzing)
Imperial Officer's Pants
Imperial Officer's Boots
Black Leather Gloves

Imperial Medal of Honor
+16 Melee/Ranged Defense Grey Formfitting Undershirt

KYD2 Pistol (nice sleek design gives it a nice "formal" look to it)

i've never been a very rich player, so i've never been able to afford the high-end SEAs, so i don't really worry much about sockets or anything like that. i spend my money on other toys, like high-end weapons, and spaceships. i love my Firespray (Flying Shoe)

I wear the Imperial Clone armor when I'm actually doing a quest, but if I'm part of a group I wear my standard Attire:.

Gray camo duster (+15 Bleed defense)

Gray camo pants (+15 Bleed edfense)

Black workshirt (used to have Warcry, but not anymore)

Standard boots (black)

Leather gloves (black)

SWG Premiere goggles with red lenses

Freelance Pilot bandolier (nearly filled to the brim with trap crates )

and to top off my ensemble, a regular gray Sunguard hat.

I wear my normal clothing more than armor, only need the added defense boost when on some of the harder quests.

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.

I generally wear brown/tan padded armor on the desert planets, and I have a green set of padded (better stats, but I dont have enough mitigation skills yet) for the green planets. I have two Ubese helmets that I swap out. I also found a nice set of red Marauder armor that I use for general combat. I have a few harvesting and terrain negotiation skill tapes in my shirt and boots. I also have a few PSGs for hunting people.

I'm poor, though. Do the geo caves still drop alot of skill tapes?

Eventually, I really want the scout trooper armor - its the only reason I havent gone neutral by now. Scout armor, on a speederbike, on Endor - you don't get any more Star Wars-y than that!
