My self and a friend are starting alts today and we wanna try to do melee, after 6 months we have done everything BUT melee. My friend wants to go TKM/Swords/Fencer, I want to go Swords/Mdoc. What we wanna do is team up together and do loot runs in the NS caves and other high lvl NPC spawn sites. Can the two of us take on NS elders, with him tanking/attacking and me healing/attacking?

That's pretty similar to what me and my friend do - she's the swords/doc im the tank (altho i have no fencer) and we've handled just about everything

ive heard that Msword/Mdoc can take elders and other NS's alone, can they?

yeah, Swords/Doc can solo most things, but company is nice

CM's are probably the worst damage wise in PvE of all combat profs.Our poisons do the same damage in PvP and PvE, and a pretty decent poison will do 800-1000 per tick, 1 tick being 8 seconds. Figure a TKA that does 1500+ damage every second compared to 1000 every 8 seconds, you get the idea. Also TKAs can tank, CM's get like no defense so you would lose all that defense as well.

well that just sucks, I really hope they do something to fix it for PVE a little more, I'd really like to use it, but throwing poisons at a rifleman all day while getting hit in every direction by a fencer or somethin just isn't fun, I quit pvp because of how lame it got, most fun I've had now was against a defense stacking fencer who had stim b's about as strong as the stim c's I make as a master doc, took 15 minutes to beat him, I just lucked out he didn't use the 250+ mind poison 150+ mind fire dot pike he had on him..lol

you only need to toss your poisons until the stick. once they stick then unless they stop, you get no bonus for tossing them more.

I am wondering if there are any rumors regarding any other changes to unlocking a Jedi character floating around? If there are post a link to the site. Just wondering what is to come in the near future.

When i read nova's faq in the speed cap section i didn't see any speed cap including BH carbs and i just had a question. If i am master carbineer and BH carbs 4 then what is the max speed carbine i can have to stay speed capped? i know i am am not a pure breed but i am one of few carbineers and i am proud to be.
please dont flame.......
also i am putting a vote in this whats the best carb title?
A. Enforcer (BH-carbs4)
B. Mercenary (carbine-assault-tactics4)
C. Marauder (carbine-marksmanship4)
D. Infiltrator (carbine-counterinsurgency4)
E. Assaulter (carbine-special-abilities4)
F. the few and the proud Master Carbineer (duh all trees in carbineer)
i personally like infiltrator and enforcer and i wear my mercenary tag while hunting jedi

BH Carbs or SEA's or just dabbling in Carbineer.....the Speed Formula is the same.
I wrote that section, so I can answer any question you have.....Master Carbineer and BH X4XX will have over +100 Carbine Speed and cap every Carbine no matter what the Speed of the Carbine.
BTW, both of my toons proudly wear Master Carbineer
