Thread: Non CH Pets

I read on another forum line that BE pets can no longer be mounts because they are to small.

This is exactly what I read, dont know if its true.

As far as taming and leveling a pet for a non-ch to use, lol all my CH pets have no xp, the ones I had before this change, I will be using them when I can to see if they can get anything out of this change. Some of these pets mean alotto me, they were gifts from my sons who play also, I will not be deleting them or leveling new Non-ch pets to make mounts, its just to much pain. I dont get to game on live server much, getting and making mounts to give to noobs on Gorath was something I did as a break from TC-Prime. I most certianly dont have timeto level pets now.

As far as my experience as a non-CH on Kettemoor, I have yet to find a CH that had a non-ch mount for me to get. The odds of finding one that will level one for me and me be able to afford it is nothing short of 0%. Not to mention the fact that I would haveto wait a few days to get one if someone was willingto go hunt/find/level/mount it for me. I knowI would charage about 50k for one now on Gorath (gets laughed off Gorath), if its all that work,I dont have time to level pets for other players and use my pets to do 9k missions. Oh and what with the changes coming with group xp nerfed, I won't be hunting with players anymore either. But thats another issue all together. "Pardon me" says the Jedi Dev as he pulls his saber to kill the reward for hunting in groups. "This is bad for the game, it has to go"

Thanks for the reply!

Is there anyway to tell if the pet's been made by a BE or not? If mine is a BE pet and useless to me I'm willing to pay good credits for a CH's time to train and develop a Dewback mount for me.

If you buy it from a vendor, it's a BE pet. Otherwise, you should ask if BE or Wild.

Only a CH can have a pet earn training points as it levels. If it belongs to a non-CH, they'll have to find a CH that is willing to level it for them, and teach it specials.

Well, the price of a non-CH mount now is in the 100k range, because I'm going to charge heavily for my grinding time and my datapad space to grind.

QFE!

Im gonna charge extra to teach it specials too. And ya know what else? I think this is the end of my days wearing my MCH tag.................

I do not believe the devs thought through the implications of the new growth system on non-CH players when they went forward with this revamp. Frankly, it complicates things, and non-CH players are going to be just a tad upset at the fact that they are going to have to pay premium prices, for the most part, for mount critters, if they really want one, and a lot of players do. They're cool. They're not just transportation. Some people are paying $15 a month not just to powergrind their way to a flashlight.
