Thread: Got milk?
apparantely not. I have read through most of the information in the FAQs and I see some infrequent references to milk and it being obtained by milking herbivores. Am I correct in assuming this means that as of right now there is no milk in the game? If so, then that answers my question about why the hell no one ever has any milk for sale. Just made Novice Chef and I was planning out my grind path.
Thanks for your help.
-Nah-
Currently, milk drops in minute amounts off Kinga's, Mokks and Nightsisters and can be found in several spawning containers such as those at Panther City on Talus (can never remember the real name
The /milk command won't be added until at least the next major patch. Right now it's available only as a loot drop from high-level NPCs and debris fields in the panther city on Talus. I was browsing through resource vendors yesterday looking for some decent reactive gas, one guy had four or five single-unit stacks with a 25k sale price.
The best grind recipes are going to use just harvestable resources (flora, water, minerals), which means you'll learn to hate Wastril Bread (Novice Chef) and Ithorian Mist (Mixology II).
oh and I apologize for the corny thread title. I am sure that one has been used to exhaustion.

Damn, I was going to post the piket mission trick, and sciguy beat me to it. ![]()
I actually buy just about all my milk, since I spend too much time cooking to be able to supply myself. There's a guy in my town who's a master musician (read: always broke) but has enough combat skill to get piket missions. He does exactly what sciguy described, going back and forth between the two lairs. I pay pretty well for good milk, so for him this is an easier way to make money than destroy missions. He'll put in a couple of hours milking, I get a 5k+ stack of milk, and he makes a nice chunk of credits. It's working out well for both of us.
I've also had pretty good success buying off the bazaar, but hiring a milker is a much more reliable way to get whatyou need. Find someone who's long on time and short on skill and credits, make them a generous offer, and I bet you'll do well.
I looked at the faq post and sticky posts andfound nothing.
