I actualy agree with him. you should know how to use the faqs, and use them. I'm not saying I don't like you if you ask qusetions, but when it is somthing that has been as extensivly covered as grinding Doctor, do a serch for srying out loud. but the origenal poster was polite and evrything, so I guess that counts for somthing.

Dudes of SWG,

I'm new to this part of town, anyone tell me what grinding is? I heard someone talking of a grinding system, whats that? Also being a jedi sounds quite cool and hard to do so how do i go about doing that.

Grinding = doing something (in this case, mastering professions) as fast as humanly possible rather than playing and experiencing the game as a game. More like work.

The system to become a jedi is about to change. I suggest you don't even worry about it for another month.

Does anyone have any tips on a fast way to grind Doctor? I need to get to 4440 and any suggestions would be appriciated.

Sure, have a mate "tumble to standing" (marksman - combat xp tree) for ya, and you setup a macro to heal him. I ground thru medic and just recently doc trees like that.

Now i gotta look forward to the doc crafting grind!

Yeah, if you can find someone to tumble for you privately (so nobody else can heal them) you can grind to 4/4/4/0 in about 3 hours.

Have a friend pull out a pet and do pet tricks, this takes more ham then tumbling and will get the job done faster. Im not sure how this works exactly but two of my friends were doing it last night and they were asking me for training every 20-30 minutes.

As far as the crafting part, it just plain sucks. It took me 3 hrs to get the first box.

I had a very hard time at first, I had to fight over experience in the medical center with 10 other novice doctors. And I never found anyone who wanted to tumble for me for free. Then God smiled upon me cause one day when I was riding my bike from the South exit of Coronet, many Survival experience grinders had a macro shouting to the by-passers to visit their camp so they get some experience. Out of the blue I had the idea to offer to sit in a persons camp if he tumbles for me. It's very effective and free. Then when he needed to go I just went to the next camp. I play on Chimaera, I don't know what It's like on the other servers.

Once you have 0/2/4/0, get some meduse 90 enhance Ds and buff people or pets. The XP will flow in at that point.
