Thread: Best Non-CH pet?
Yeah, it depends on your characters skill and level. If your starting out, then you really can't go wrong with rock mites, mound mites, womp rats, or BE level 10 pet like some of the BE Jaxes or catsI've seen. Check with a BE to see what new options are available for them for non ch pets.
Also you may want to buy a probot, level 10, around 810 HAM, 40% resists.
I still use my probot as an emergency reserve for VERY high level fights, if I need to cut and run, or when i'm grouped with others.![]()
But if your already at high levels and fighting tough creatures, then yeah, these pets will be cannon fodder, but may be used if you need a quick get away.
BTW, carrion spats aren't too bad. They have an 1100 HAM, Level 10, have a special attack (i think, and I forget what it is), are mount trainable. Not too shabby overall.
Hope this helps.
I'm not a CH nor will this character be one. I have two classes which I'm getting close to mastering and I'll keep them until Space. Sure, I'll have a few other points to play around with, but, I like my character where it is. So, I'm only looking for the highest, low level pet there is, like the Rock Beetle use to be, or the Cowardly Gurreck. I really want something that has at least a couple of thousand HAMs, not something that has less than me, or is equal to me in HAMs. So, if anybody else can help out and post a really good non-CH pet, I would appreciate it.
Rhyus
The skin/modeldoesn't matter, only that the BE make it CL 10 or less
...and not invalid I suppose, but I don't think anyone knows exactly what the devs are thinking is invalid at this point.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...
And what will these cost?
an 820 ham medium armor with 40% resists probot can be had for around 15k easily.
But I suggest you wait since theyre gonna beef up probots.
