Went on a krayt hunt a while back with a samll group. WE only got 4 pearls in a buff session, however we had no master rifles or swords to speed things up

Well my thinking is as follows:
- It's a bug in the system.
- It's a bug that causes damage to a particular profession.
- Therefore, I find it unethical to craft such pets as by doing so, I am acknowledging that it is a bug and that I want to damage the CH profession. By releasing the information on how to damage this profession, it would appear to me that I am advocating the use of the recipe and thus advocating damage to the CH profession.
I am also teetering with Lloyd's idea about mass producing these pets in such a scale that if they do become common as muck, that they will reduce the demand for them and reducing the price. However, I feel I must remind myself that the reason I am against them is not primarily because of the exploitation of people's wallets but because they are breaking the noble profession of Creature Handling. So by mass producing them we are, effectively, damaging it more.
Also, these pets are not 'hard work' they are easy to make and can take less about 20 minutes to accumulate DNA for 4 or 5 of these pets.
I don't see how this hurts the CH profession, they go one with business as usual, if anything it gives them more business by selling them pets to train. The profession I think it really hurts is Droid Engineer. Why use a probot with 3200 HAM when you can use a gurrcat with 6k?
This has happened to me too. If you find you're killing the creatures without obtaining a sample, try it again l ater.

My DNA sampling the other day was a total waste lol.. I collected the GSP,Kima and SDG plus the MH DNA.. I had enough to make 3 pets to sample for making into a 2nd gen pet... Out of the 3 pets I got 3 samples of DNA.. enough to make one 2nd gen. The thing is I got nothing when I sampled off the first two and got all my DNA off the last pet. Isnt it a little odd to get so little DNA like that?

This hurts the CH profession because they should be used by Creature Handlers only. The devs have said that they are beyond the scope of CL10 pets (which means that they should have higher levels). In my opinion, these pets should be around levels 15 or 16, which means 1 or 2 boxes into Creature Handler. This damages the CH profession because you are effectively being given access to a creature handler's pet without having to invest any points into taking up the profession. This does not damage the DE profession as much because droids have functionality, such as harvesting bonuses, 40% resists across the board, storage of up to 10 items and you can have 5 of them in the datapad. The balance between them is fine.
