Im sorry but this is the first I've heard of Rancor teeth. Are they a component of afencer weapon or an add-on like skill tape to clothing. Also I assume they drop off any old rancor? Ive been the to rancor cave next to the Dathomir Nightsister cave and it was empty.

A side related question, the NS dungeon next to the rancor cave had npcs that were white and couldnt be targetted for combat. All you could do was Examine them. Too bad, this looked like a solo'rs dream dungeon. High lvl mobs with only 1-3 per room. Anyone know what the deal is?

Fix the damage variance so the low end damage = the high end damage and make the speed modifier speed the weapon up instead of slow it, and the teeth will rock. It is ridiculously bad the way they are now compared to krayt tissue for marksman weapons.

I was wondering what type of rancor you can loot the teeth off of. I tried killing a few of the tougher ones, but no such luck. In case you didn't know there are Ancient bull rancors, enraged bull rancors, enraged rancors, mutant rancors, bull rancors, rancors, gnarled rancors, and rancor youths. I might of missed some but those are the one I have actually seen in game.

Hmm no one knows. Anyone at least know somewhere where I can find this info out?

I clear every rancor nestI find. Have done so for 3 weeks. I have gotten 0 rancor teeth.

I got 3 rancor teeth off a mutant. In my rancor hunting experience they are a very slow drop. I've got over 50 biles, padded armor segments, and the like before 3 teeth dropped.

I understand these are used to enhance weapon damage if a WS incorporates them into the assembly of a melee weapon. Is this correct?

Also, can these be used to make Gaffi Sticks?

I found 3 of these the other day. Can they be used to build a gaffi stick? Also is it worth the effort? SOE rarely gives without taking more (increased damage with increased HAM on an already HAM hog weapon).

I saw somewhere that the rancor tooth is used as a replacement to the "sword core" or "advanced sword core" component. It looks like that component is only used in swords, Rykk blades, two-handed curved swords, and two-handed cleavers.

From most of what I've seen, unless the tooth is from an ancient bull rancor, a well-experimented advanced sword core is a better choice.

Yes they are pretty worthless right now. Even if you find a great one, the added ham costs are usually not worth the extra damage they might offer. That's the story I get from weaponsmiths and swordsman forum correspondents. I've never actually found one though I've gotten many armor segments from them.
