as i see it there's not really enogh defense there, sure there's a drain on your force pool from the armor but the benefit at outweighs the cost. the only other option if you still want to be a frontline and not second line tank/fighter is to go master def, otherwise you'll get hammered in pvp and one-on-one, because you'll have no innate armor or not enough.

I think it would be an ok template if you have a nice saber much like MENH/MLS is nice if you have a nice saber. Basically, if you can outdamage people with your saber then you can use less defenses.

that temp is really nice i have almost i (had it aswell)

it is enoght for 1vs1 if you dont meat a high dmg jedi and you dont have a high dmg saber but else it is great

I think all dabbler templates should have force armor. FA2+ novice defender = master defender innate armor ..............................

master def 7000 innate

fa2 6000 innate

tkm 6000 innate

depends - CM is also getting a action cost associated with it that makes combining much much less desireable.
