Bit of both. The big problem with C's and D's, is that it is very difficult to make crates of them and the resources mean they are much more expensive. I do sell C's but not as many as I do B's. If you need to heal your pet quickly then you want C's and ifpossible regular stims as well. Really the only time you need to heal your pet quickly is in combat. After combat is over, you don't really need to heal you pets quickly. It can take awhile to heal yourRancor with B's. 10K dmg/ 800 heal= 12.5 * 20 sec = 4 minutes for an almost full heal. However your pet hasn't normally taken that much damage. While C's do cut down on the time taken, its only a 40% improvement (2.5 minutes) and usually at a fairly substantial increase in cost. Add to that C's take up a lot of room is not in crates. B's can almost always be bought in crates of 50. Thus taking up 2 slots. (One for the crate and one for the B out right now)

A couple of things to add to my scenario:

1. I do make crates of Cs (but, Ido work very hard to get the resources but for the money it's well worth it, IMHO).

2. My vendor is only 500m away from Anchorhead so I get tons of traffic (I'm moving my vendor to a player city this weekend after the shuttle port comes in and I'll be even closer to a shuttle; man, I can't wait ).

You also need to factor in what kind of pet stim C you are looking to make. Are they just gonna be good enough to compete with a MBE using doctor subcomponents pet stim B (over 900 heal)? In this case, pet stim Bs really are good enough since there are those that have the doctor connections or are doctors themselves. Sometimes the quality of the insect meat from Dath isn't good enough compared to the good Talusian fungus that was so easily stockpiled.

I make Bs on the whole, they're nice and easy to mass produce plus I have a crapload of adv. BEC so i come out with some very tasty 750/35 petstim Bs whcih I sell for 1800c. I'm working on getting a supply of dantooine fiberplast though since I actually do rather well with fishing and so does my wife so I may as well capatilize on that.

Pet stims D's sell for pretty much anything you put them up for. One time there was some really good fish on naboo, like 950/900 so the d's were coming out almost 1600 heals with good dant fiber etc. I was selling those jokers for 5000+ a piece and getting it, no joke. Probably could have gotten more but then I feel like im ripping somebody off. I mostly do B's. With good materials, can get them up to 800+ heals.

I dont really take offense when aCH says, "pet stims are a joke, stick with the stim b's"..... cause to me, i'm doing so much business with stims, I dont need them anyway. Cant barely keep up as it is. I'd rather have a good supply for my regular customers who wouldrather pay a little more for real heals to pets....stims b's dont touch pet stim b's. If your a master medic and a ch then the whole discussion is irrelevent but if your a ch/pistoleer...pet stims are very good.

I've been selling the 750/35 heal PetStim B's on the Dathomire Bazaar for 3000 credits each ... sometimes location matters ...

My experience concurrs with what most people here are saying.

I put some 1400 heal pet stim D's on my vendor for 8000c a stim and they all sold out within 2 weeks.

I put up 4 crates of pet stim C's that healed for 1154 at 200,000 a crate and they sold out within 3 days

I since ran out of Dath Insect Meat and the current shift on my server is terrible so I went back to mass producing B's. WIth current resources my B's are 25 charges and heal for 844. This will get better when I make a new run of Bio Effect controllers with better resources that shifted in this week. The B's I sell for 80,000 a crate and they usually sell out within a few dayts but thats ok becaue I can restock them that fast as well. I also "advertise" by putting individual B stims in the bazaar for 3000c a piece and I put the location of my vendor in the name of the stim.

Can you use pet stims without being a medic?

Does anyone have any luck finding these? On Starsider I have not been able to find any decent pet stims. The best I found was a crate of 25 stims, 780 strength, for 20k. Quite frankly, they suck, especially since pet stims have a set use speed. 780 strength doesn't do much for a 9k HAM Graul that's taking a pounding from other creatures. I don't have the extra skill points to go medic. If I did, I could use stim C's every two seconds or so to greater effect.

Strongest I've heard of was 1400 heals for a stim D which was probably with really nice fish and doc made components.

I don't stock any Cs or Ds on my vendor but what I said above works for me too. Bring me the stuff and I'll be glad to make you some stims. But the final product is only as good as the materials put in and the number of potential sales just isn't high enough for me to go through the effort of collecting all the ingredients. PM me if you'd like to talk further so we don't clutter the topic with server specific talk.

You might try posting on your server or server trade boards. If that doesn't work, check the BE boards. Don't post, but look at the sticky for BE vendors. They're broken into threads based on the galaxy with the sticky collecting all the links together.

If you find an active BE, you'll probably need to collect the materials. Dath Insect meat for Stim Cs while Stim Ds need fish meat and Dantooine Fiberplast. I won't go out of my way to make these but if someone were to bring the components, I wouldn't have a problem making them either.
