Well here goes
1# The Jawa Ion or JIR does stun dmg. Stun dmg just happens to be every armors weakness. So any dmg done with it cuts through armor like a hot knife through butter. However recently stun protective armor are being made with 40% resists.
2# No one knows it is a lost weapon kinda like the republic blaster excpt no one can use the beam rifle.

That need a couple of answers....
1) I now have 0410 swords, what to go for next, what will help most when looking into the eyes of an Elder?
2) Re: the Elder, I was up against one the other day, using COB, but found I did better without as with the COB macro on,setup as "clear combat queue > COB> 23 second pause > reload", my mind was getting shot to bits..... I did better without COB, why?
3) What exactly does COB and Intimidate do, are they any good?

TBH, don't use COB when fighting an elder, since the elder will hit you 99,99% of the time anyways.
Intimidate should always be used since it reduces the damage output of the elder by 50%.
If you lost mind quickly, and COB made you lose even more I'd say you're not using enough mind food, always pop 2 brandys and a couple of ahrisa and keep her intimidated and it should be fine.. although it will take a lot of time with your current template and no speed attachments.

First question is about the changes in Patch 10.
If I have Planetary Map Advertising active, but have dropped the skill, will the advertising go away after the patch? (this sure will clear a lot off the planetary map if it does!)
Second question is about factory crates.
If I have a crate of 25 items, can that be broken down to 5 crates of 5 items? If so, how? Is there a split option I've never seen?

Yes the advertising will go away
Yes, you can split crates. Just hold down the mouse button and a radial menu will appear with the option "Split"
Can be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

There have been no changes to advertising with this publish.
Yes crates have a Split Crate option just like resource crates do. Its on the radial menu for them.

Thanks, friends. I feel kind of silly asking about the crate thing. I'v been a Merchant for nearly a year, andwas a Master Merchant for a good bit of that time. You would think I would know these things. LOL!

Ehh..I think the Tailor correspondant taught me something about vendors a few weeks ago that I had never tried before. Just never came up. It wasn't a game breaking thing just some short cut that I hadn't encountered in more than a year of using vendors every day.
So don't feel bad about learning new things.

Comeon Doc, you know you want to tell us
When you veiw the details of an item right next to the piccture of the item are previous and next icons. I never even thought about them but you can use them to scroll through the items.

OOoooOO didn't notice this either... perhaps add it to the FAQ Doc, it'd be handy for people browsing large *cough*clothing*cough* vendors.
