Thread: Any idea what u will charge for BE mounts?
Hello all BE's. I have a thread going on the CH boards about mount pricing. I was thinking about charging in the 100k range for ALL mounts. The mounts will be in a very high demand, so we need to use this demand to get what we want. Do not let other classes dictate what we should be charging. Do you think an armorsmith or weaponsmith is gonna lower thier price? Probly not. They have a cornered market on something in demand.
We now have a corner market in demand, and need to use that.

However, Transfer is going to be at Master level. Unless they make you able to trade mounts, you'll need a MCH to train mounts because no one else will be able to give them BACK to people.
I have been reading some of the feedback from the TC mount giveaway threads, and it looks to me that the mounts all have the same speed. Does anyone know if the speed will rise with a HAM increase?
If this is the case then I could justify selling them at a high price. But giving the state of this game I doubt it.
I have the good fortune to have another character that can collect meat for me so my total cost for a Kaadu is about11 credits. Meat free, DNA free, and Dant tubers .34 credits per unit. So I would really feel bad charging 30K for one, but I'm sure someone would buy it.
I think there will be a nice market for the BE for a very short time because once everyone has one then nobody will what to keep multiple mounts in they datapad because they will need a combat pet as well. I have a bunch in my datapad right now fully grown so whenthe mountsgoes live my friends and I can race around Theed on Kaadus.
I'll think I'll start the Kaadus at 5K and see how they sell.
This is only my second week at BE so I may be way off.

I think 30k a mount is too high. It doesn't cost me nearly 30k to make them, and who cares if I can make them in a factory or not, I can still crank out 15 decent quailty (not exceptional, just med range) in a night's worth of playing.
I haven't decided what my price will be, but I'm sure it will be lower than 30k.
If we start charging 30k per pet, the people we buy our resources from (for those that don't harvest their own) are going to skyrocket their prices as well. Why shouldn't they charge an outrageous price for meat / organics if we are charging a high price per mount?

When you are making your Kaduus in the 1100 HAM range on all three stats, maybe then you will see why I will be charging 30k for them.

okay . . . I'm looking at the price guide @ swgbioengineer.com and he is listing a HAM of 820 for 30k. I plan to charge according to stats of the creature (hopefully I'll come up with a formula that isn't too complicated), but I'm still thinking 30k is too high.

Being both a Master CH and soon to be Master BE, i intend to sale my mounts on a scale of quality. i have already madenumerous Kaadu deedsof low quality, i'mgoing to sale low end kaadusfor 10k fully trained. I want the noobs to able to afford one with a couple hours of missions.
The higher end stuff though will be on par with the prices i see here. I just won't feel right selling crap for 30k+ like what i have seen already proposed in game.
