Thread: Need advice
Tattered Tortons and Head Shot 2 on Rori at the rebel base.
With your laser rifle it's a 3-5 shot kill for 1K a peice and they don't BAF. -May need to be in a group with a pet to get the missions.
it is probably the best planet to go to to get your starting rifleman xp.
totrton midnight vir virs and leavia squalls are all great creatures to fight...
they all give good xp and come with a small challenge but are not overly difficult to take down...
if you decide start in the rebel outpost on rori you can use the tactic of kiting creatures into the rebel base and get assists from the players milling around the base...(although some may loathe you for doing this)
word of advice... do not get bad faction with gun guns on rori as they are every where and can quickly turn your hunting trips into hell.
after you get 4 or more boxes throughout the rifleman tree
i would leave rori as soon as possible and head to lok...
as lok gives you oppertunities to die die die but the rewards and xp beat the hell out rori.
I'm currently 0/4/1/2
what should I be next 1/4/1/2 or 0/4/2/2
Thanks!
My new fave move is charge-shot, wish we didn't charge (move forward 5m)and wish we could do it kneeling...I don't mind the hand raising thing though, I actually think it's cool.
You need some speed. Also the specials are just too cool once you get use to them. Also if you are using a snub you can start using cripple shot at the speed cap pretty quickly depending on your gun.

I have an armorsmith thats willingto put together a suite of armor for free if I collect the resources. I'm a doctor, so understand all about experimentation and resource quality already... but after looking at the schematics on SCGcraft.com I have a question.
I'm wanting the absolute top of the line kenetic protection... forgetting anything about HAM costs for the moment... (did I mention I'm a doctor?
) I'm thinking that Ubese would be the best to start out with, but I don't know enough about segments and layers and such, so I'm hoping for a bit of advice. Would it be better to have a high quality (resource wise) highly experimented kenetic layer? or to use one of the mob dropped enhancement pieces and experiment on that?
Another question comes in the armor's choice... IS ubese the best possible kenetic or would composite (with its 3 layer segments) make a better suite of kenetic armor?
Last question comes in the mod segments vs. segment enhancements (scales and such I guess they are) and whick mob to look for... better to use krayt? rancor? or voritor parts? segments or layers? and I huess that goes back to the armor of choice too.
Oh?? hrmm... insane as in how??
Thx
Like I'm fond of saying, I'm an Master Armor Idiot
So Please be as informative as you like... but if someone's wants to flame me for that, at least make the info good info!! ![]()
well Ubuse is good if the need resourses for advanced ubese are avalible (currently biding 800,000 for some 10,000 axidite iron for use in advanced ubese) since some servers like mine have not had any axidite for 2 1/2 months
.
With 3 kinectic layers in composite I can get 80% kinetic 56% other stats easy the problem you might have is the mind ham costs. good news dancers/musicans are going to get a better way to mind buff in the next patch since it's already on live.
Ubese is the way to go.
I hunt krayts solo - with no pets - on Valcyn and I got a suit of Ubese at 73 - 83% (difference cus some peices were sliced for encumberance some for resist). And i absorb roughly 8000 damage. Which lets me survive several hits from krayt dragons.
Go for high quality ubese and get it all sliced for resists and u will pwn PvE.
Ubese is hands down my all time favorite armor. It's lightweight, it has flexible options. Want the ar1 resist to all damage types except stun? Throw in some krayt scales. Want really high kinetic protection? Throw in a kinetic layer. Want higher energy protection better than a good slice will give you? Throw in an energy layer. I can get my kinetic advanced Ubese to 66/14 now and the ham costs hover around 350 to each.
My newest favorite armor though is Voritor Hide Bone Armor. With even the 5/5/6 segments, I've gotten 30% energy 6% kinetic armor with a full suit coming in at around 150 encumbrance. It's a very decent PvE humanoid mission armor with low enough ham that even the fattest fingers can squash specials in. If only it would go over 10k condition.
Ok guy i need your opions . i have gotten enuff exp to get my first box into fencer what i am wanting to know is what do you guys think is the best one to get first between foot work or technique .. i all ready have 2 bleeds from pistoler so the bleed from foot work is not that big a deal but the bouns to cob might be when compared to body hit 2 what do all of you guys think .
