Well, after making Master Artisan/Master DE, I'm deleting. LOL

Not because I don't enjoy making Droids... oh, I do, but because people in this game suck. Plain and simple. You don't remember the good ones, only the bad ones and there's finally been one too many bad ones. I've given away all my droids parts (about 50 crates worth of misc droid stuff lol), all my resources (500k of different crap I'd guess) and all of my decorations in the house (300 items there, including what I had on me). At least I give before I delete! LOL

Good luck to all the DEs out there... the profession is troubled, but it's still darn fun to play.

Sure there are some people that will piss you off, I know it happens to me from time to time. If I were you I would wait at least until the start of Oct to see if any changes are made. The best thing that helps me through these problem people is to remember its just a game and you can always put these people on ignore, I have had some pretty amazing and strange deals (guy was going togive me his house for a driod)go down and those are the ones that I remember.

But thats just what I would do not trying to tell you how to play.

I am interested in what they did to you that was so bad, if im not prying. You can generalize if you want. And it sounds as if you want to come back and was a little hasty on giving away all your stuff.

I ended up getting the "shirt off his back", the poor fish. A friend of mine bought what was left out of his vendor, and delivered it to me, all it was were some clothing. A shirt, some boots, etc.

I don't know what to think here. If a coupla rotten apples were enough to push you over the edge, you'd think you would just leave the game. Giving away all your stuff doesn't make any sense, even in switching characters to a scout or some other profession. Resources and items can still help a scout. Especially credits when it comes time to buy the toys for your new profession. There's no explanation for giving up all your gear like this - why you'd give up all your gear and credits, unless it was even more attention mongering.

Time for me to hang it up. Tired of waiting for nothing. My last day is tomorrow and I know it will take about 6 more months to fix all the problems the DE profession has. I tried the other professions and they are also broken. Now as bad as DE, but broken anyway. I bought this game for the sole purpose of the DE profession. I am a Master DE and I am so tired of making droids that all do the same thing.

Star Wars is such a great thing in all of our lives. It's a shame that SOE destroyed such a great thing. Star Wars will never be the same in my mind.

And on that negative note I say good bye and good luck to those of you who want to pay for the Beta 4 series. I think in Beta 6 they may have it working and then I may come back.

I think the best way to show the devs how pissed you are is to give me all your stuff and credits. It would be like saying, give me a broken profession? Well I will give all my stuff to this guy and then he doesnt even have to work for it.

It doesnt really make sense now but trust me in the end it will.

I can be a pretty patient person, but well, we have moved well past "soon" for the promised clone fixes. The tissue fixes were nice, but they're not really my thing - and after looking around on test center, all I see are mounts and player cities. I *thought* that perhaps that was just the starting layer for the patch, but now I hear it's going live in a week or two - and as far as I know, the Bol is still the ONLY fixed pet, much less added. I have still been enjoying the BE class to a point, but of late I find little joy in the BE requests I receive (and even some irritation).

Then comes the holocron. I have seen the posts on the jedi forum about it not being the end, but I am nonetheless intrigued. Add to that the fact that it gave me pistoleer, something I debated long and hard about taking up before finally deciding on BE (my other profession being CH, one of the main reasons I came to this game). I've decided to see where that goes. I don't know if I will continue past that point or not; I guess that depends on what the holocron says next.

I'd just like to say that I think the BE community here is one of the best in SWG - for the most part I see helpful, informative posts with little infighting. A quick glance at some of the other forums would show some different attitudes (the most obvious being CH).

I haven't decided whether I plan to take up BE again at a later point or not... I guess that depends on if/when those changes come in (with my luck, it'll be Monday or so ) & how satisfied I am with the classes I have at that point.
