It happened to a whole bunch of houses and factories around that area. It's happened before also.

I don't talk to her either. Just had people asking me about it last night.

I did try and talk to her once when I was a n00b tailor and I asked her to train me in formal 1 and got a rather rude response, as I remember... that's why I've never tried to again

Yes, cartridge belts are where it's at. They don't really use more resources, 55 metal and 50 polymer for 280xp.

Hi,

Just to note linked gloves do not require hides...50 inertpetro (total), and 20 steel, three clicks (I believe), and an extra click for factory grind no biggy; hand grind maybe an issue...for me hand grinding is boring, so I do not, instead I try to make 5-10 of each item to stock my vendor in between custom orders...and let the factory earn the experience for me.

linked gloves, only an additional 10 resources over ribbed, still just 2 resources, both easy to get. I would agree using anything that requires hides or components to grind would be a poor choice.

Thanks for checking on the pricing...

Yeah I've been doing the Link-Reinforced Gloves thing. By hand, I can get skills boxes at about this rate, using 3 crafting tools at once.

Level 1 skill (Field, Formal, Casual, Experimentation) - about 45 mins

Level 2 skill - about an hour and 15 mins

Level 3 - A good 2 hours

Level 4 - Four hours

Seems like you can blast through the tree really quick like, hm? No way. Figure it out like this.

1 pair of gloves = 165 TXP

1 pair of gloves = 50 petrochem, 20 metal

Level 1 skill = 32,000 TXP (approx)

32,000/165 = 194 pairs of gloves

194 x 50 petrochem and 20 metal = 9,700 petrochem and 3880 metal

So you're looking at, with failures, likely 10.5k chemical and 4k of metal, for a level 1 skill.

A level 4 skill is what? 72,000? Around there?

72,000/165 = 437 pairs of gloves

which is, in resources, 22k of chemical and 9k of metal

An entire skill tree? In resources?

10.5k chem + 15.5k chem + 19k chem + 22k chem = 67k of petrochems

4k metal + 6k metal + 7.5k metal + 9k metal = 26.5k of metal

Geez, but wait. Novice tailor to master simply grinding link steel gloves....

268,000 units of Inert Petrochemicals

106,000 units of metal

If you have access to those kinds of resources during the first few weeks of release, I really would like to know how you did that. I have a large PA with me that provides me with tons of petrochems, I handle the metal, and I'm up to Field Wear 4 and Formal 1.

Wow.

You can, if you setup a supply chain. I've gotten no resources but hides for free, and I'm three skillboxes away from master.

I run tons of big harvesters, I buy resources from 3+ suppliers daily
